"Foam It Insulation performed a house energy efficiency audit sponsored by NYSERDA in New York State. It was a very thorough audit that took about an hour and a half. Three weeks later the lead technician met with us to share the results and to point out the areas in the house where we could improve the insulation properties and reduce heat loss. There was a list of about a dozen activities we could have performed to reduce our insulation deficiencies with estimated costs. The technician provided answers to our question in a no pressure approach that helped us determine which activities had the best return on our investment and a general estimate on the time to perform those activities. I should note that some of the activities could not be done by FOAM IT, but we were given some potential suppliers' names. It was a good, low sales pressure presentation and we will probably be doing two or three of the activities some time next year. FOAM IT's technician offered to have their office give us a call next year on a date of our choosing and we gave him our best guess date for them to call."
