"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

Before I chose GF company to do my siding job, my wife and I did some background research in the types and brands of vinyl siding. Our reasoning for this is to find some way we could control the quality of the material and to help narrow down our choices in siding companies. We used Consumer?s Reports for this purpose.  We requested quotes from three different companies specifying the particular brand of siding.  We got two responses/quotes.  GF Company?s quote was by far the most competitive and comprehensive of the two.  GF Company?s quote also came in about $3000.00 less.

  After reading the many positive reviews of GF Company on Angie?s List we decided to go with GF Company.   After a 30 min meeting with Ariel, GF Company?s owner discussing the various details of the job including the long lead time for completion (GF Company was booked out for several months), we cut a check for 50% down.  I emailed Ariel several times during those months, keeping in touch as to the start time and further questions.  He always responded within day or two.

  On December 9, they started the siding job, much to our delight as it was our 36th wedding anniversary,  A nice gift to ourselves!  The two siding installers, Brandon and Bill worked quickly, efficiently and did an EXCELLENT JOB, Paying close attention to detail in the through out the installation process. (they even replaced the north side exterior light from their inventory at no charge since it was rusted in place) They also cleaned the jobsite nicely each day.  When they completed the front of the house, I drove right by my driveway after work because I didn?t recognize the house!  The difference on how the house looked is astounding!

After completion, I immediately noticed that the cold drafts though out the home had greatly diminished, especially in the master bedroom at the north-west side of the home.

". I called this company based on the fact that a family member was employed by them years ago. He said they were simply the best. He was right. This family owned business represents the best in family owned businesses. Jim P came out and gave me a very fair price for both the roof and the sliding door. He said the work would be done within a certain time period. Guess what, it was! These guys are true professionals from A to Z. They showed up at 7AM to do start the roofing job. They took great care to make sure our shrubs and siding were well protected from the falling debris. They used long, wide tarps and numerous sheets of plywood leaned up against the home, doors, and windows to protect them. They tore the old roof off. Next they installed a top quality roofing system that looks fantastic. The shingles are dimensional and gave out home a completely new look. More importantly, they did an outstanding job installing the system. When they were done, they picked up all the debris and by 5PM that same day, other than an awesome looking new roof, there was no trace they were even here.They even went into the neighbors yards to inspect and make sure that no debris was left in their yards. The crew was truly amazing. hard working, professional, courteous, and very skilled. The new shingles look so good, that we get compliments all the time. 100% impressed with every aspect of the job.
The sliding door they replaced was bad. The old one leaked and was a real piece of junk. The new one is beefy, strong, and looks awesome with the low E 366 glass. the installer did a fantastic job and again, left no trace that he was even here.
This is a company i would recommend to anyone in need of a new roof, windows, doors, or siding. They really do care about the work they do. Very refreshing in this day and age. The owners are involved and the staff is very responsive. Jim P, my salesman, is friendly, and knows his stuff. We have other family members using their services now too. I urge anyone shopping for the items i mentioned above to contact these folks, you won't be disappointed. Pricing, service, and installation is all A++. This is a family owned business with a long history of doing great work. That speaks volumes in my opinion. Thank you Jim P and Krumwiede, you did a great job for us.

"I spoke with Ron on the phone the day after purchasing the deal and he was very nice and professional. Ron asked if I would like to have the work scheduled within a few days so we set up a date. Mark was the tech that came out and he was great as well. Mark removed an old vanity and installed a new one. He replaced several locks on my doors, mounted a new tv to a wall, and did some drywall patching for me. I am very impressed with the work and would use their services again."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
