"When the technician got to my house, he quickly added freon to my unit and checked all of the grates to make sure the temperatures were coming out right. I asked him if there was any way for him to look at the air flow difference coming out of some grates in my living room and he quickly was able to find dampers in my duct work. He was able to increase air flow in rooms I had trouble with in the past without any problems. I really appreciate the effort that Brian put in to making my system run at its best. They installed a whole house  (2 floors) system with 12 registers in 3 days. The air handler was installed in the attic and compressor was installed outside. "We have been using Arctic Air to service our heating & air conditioning unit since 2017 when we purchased our home. Last week we were having a problem where we had no heat. We called Arctic Air, told them our problem. Appointment was set up to check both the heating and air conditioning unit. Today, technician Tony Perriello arrived on time & went directly to work. He quickly identified the problem with the heating unit ... it needed a new pressure switch. I was given a price of what it would cost to order the switch, i immediately accepted & they will be back next week to have it installed. Maintenance was done on the air conditioning, new filters installed and that is working fine. I recommend Arctic Air for your heating & air conditioning services, and the technician Mr. Perrielo, who took the time to explain everything, did not steer me wrong or did he try to over charge me. "I waited so long to submit this review because I wanted to see if we really were going to save any money. Our summer electric bills have dropped to a third of what they were last year. We may never fully recover the full replacement cost but getting a PECO bill for $175.00 versus $576.00 (August) is great and that is a positive for the enviornment! <br /> I no longerhave all the specs on the old oil burner but with the new system (3 zones vs. 2) we are using 50% less fuel oil. I can't track the savings due to warmer temperatures but the new unit runs a lot less than the old Columbia. <br /> Petro is a class company. Very professional. "High quality, responsive, fair, and clean These guys are the best! We worked with them on a water heater replacement and a air conditioner repair/replacement - both in July 2019. When our water heater broke, we called several places. They were the first to respond - Ahmad was able to come out to our house within an hour or so. He answered our questions, let us know why he knew it needed to be replaced (as opposed to repairing a link), and began working. He noted that our previous water heater had been installed incorrectly, and he re-welded a pipe so that the new water heater could be installed on a more level surface. While he was at our house, we asked if he could also install a new kitchen faucet that we had been meaning to replace. He was able to fix it in 20 minutes. For both repairs, he left the worksite clean. I'm glad our water heater broke that day, because we learned they also do air conditioner repair. Dean was much more knowledgeable and provided us with more repair options than any other company we had contacted. We had been under the impression that both our air handler and condenser needed to be replaced, but he let us know that although the condenser needed to be replaced, only one part of the air handler - the coil - needed to be replaced. This saved us thousands of dollars. Dean also patiently answered our questions about other air conditioner options we were considering (e.g., whether to get a a unit with greater capacity). While we were waiting for parts to be available, they did a temporary fix of our old air conditioner so that we didn't melt during the heat wave. On the day of the repair, everything went smoothly - they kept me informed about progress and cleaned up after themselves. I'll definitely call Green Apple the next time I have a plumbing or HVAC issue!"

They were very courteous and knowledgeable about the task at hand. They also came in with the fairest price out of every company that I received estimates from, for the same material used to complete the job.
