"I can not speak highly enough about Michael and Artie. Michael and I had three separate contracts for an extensive amount of brick repair to my veterinary hospital as well as a complete overhaul of a chimney and fireplace at my residence. The veterinary clinic needed a door blocked up and all windows to be parged to match the existing stucco. The door was blocked up the right way by toothing in matching period bricks so it basically looks like in never existed. The fireplace at my residence was a complete overhaul. My wife and I wanted a pass through fireplace and Michael and Artie had to cut through 3/4 inch steel to make our dream a reality. The labor was clearly above and beyond the scope of the work originally quoted but they made sure the job got done. Michael and Artie were professional and kept constant communication through the duration of the project. They both were on site nearly seven days a week over the course of three weeks. Michael offers a 10 year warranty on all of his work. Even after the jobs were paid in full, Michael and Artie came back for minor touch ups. They cleaned up thoroughly and left the job site as they found it. I have managed three home gut renovations in the past eight years and have used my fair share of skilled workers. Michael is a gem."

"Pacific Stone and Tiles came to measure and showed about 6 choices for granite selection for the offer price. We were working with our own interior designer and we were on FaceTime with her. She nixed the 6 choices so Pacific Stone showed us another granite which was from India and was mostly white with few markings and some reddish-brownish highlights. The effect of this Indian granite was white and it coordinated nicely with our maple cabinets. Our interior designer told us to choose that and we agreed to pay Pacific Stone $1000. more for this granite from India. No name was given for this new granite in writing. When the day of installation came, the old countertop was removed. I did not think to go out and look at the granite in the truck before installation. The installation was done very efficiently and very nicely. However, the countertop did not look like what we were expecting. The color effect was gray with many markings. We were expecting a whitish granite and got gray. I asked to see the original sample that we had been shown when we selected the white granite but they did not have it on the truck. I contacted Pacific Stone and they emailed me a photo of what they said was the granite sample they showed me, but it did not look what they showed me. The granite we got was called moon white on the final bill but it had no name on the original invoice we signed. I made a number of inquiries about the discrepancy between the granite color we expected and what we received. Pacific Stone said there are natural variations in the appearance of each granite variety. However, we paid $1000 more because we thought we were getting the granite color we and our interior designer viewed and chose. I don't think I got the granite we selected and feel I paid $1000 too much. I now have to figure out how to get the granite to coordinate with the maple cabinets as well as regretting that I paid $1000 more than I should have."

"I selected Bob's Magic Broom based on feedback from Angie's List. Last month, when my furnace was serviced, the serviceman noted that chimney was not drawing as it should and recommended a cleaning. I checked my records and the last cleaning was in 2000. We have two flues - one for the furnace and one for a fireplace which is almost never used. The sweep (Joe) checked and fireplace and agreed it did not need cleaning, but the furnace flue was very bad and almost blocked. The cleaning took about an hour from beginning to end. The sweep cleaned up. I had no mess at all. I asked Joe how often I should have the chimney cleaned and he said about every other year. The technician was friendly, professional, and knowledgable. I'd highly recommend hiring them right after buying a house, especially if it is new construction. Also, if you have new filters on hand, they will install them for you after they are done. They have transparent pricing, you can pay online in advance, and I received a discount for doing so in April."

"Sean and his team performed multiple repairs on my 50 year old property including extensive excavation and foundation waterproofing and installation of french drains to divert water from one side of my house. During inspection of the foundation we also found there was serious water damage to the siding that uncovered issues from water on my roof, requiring rafter repairs, and all that went with that process. All work was completed to my satisfaction. I was pleased enough to request two additional work orders to install a cement drive and install two skylights to my roof. Every phase of the work was explained in full detail . Sean is very attentive and responds immediately when contacted for questions or any unforeseen issues. His team worked very hard and were very respectful during the entire process which took about 5 weeks to complete."

"I sent a request for quote via Angie's List in the morning, for drilling a hole in my granite countertop so that an under sink filtration system could be installed. I got a call in the afternoon of the same day from the owner and an installer was sent to my house in the evening. Devon, the installer, was very polite and professional. He did a great job very efficiently and cleaned up everything after finishing the drilling. It was pleasant working with this company and Devon, and I would definitely hire them again!"
