"Ken came out originally to do some duct cleaning but noticed that a lot of our supply and returns weren’t sealed properly with mastic (he showed us the areas that needed work). He came back out and sealed all the ducts, installed an air purifier and cleaned and sanitized all the ductwork. He was polite, knowledgeable, professional and hard working. "We were pleased with all aspects of our interaction with M&R in the course of the emergency replacement of our condo's AC system. Mitch, the owner, was consistently prompt and reliable in keeping appointments and following through on his commitments. The process was complicated by the fact that we were 1400 miles away at our home in NY when we learned that our AC system had failed. Coordinating with Mitch and our daughter and son-in-law who were there for a short vacation, Mitch made what could have been a real night mare relatively easy. He also completed the entire process from quotes to completed installation in 3 days.( It would have been two days if the town hadn't been a bit slow in providing the required license.) As for pricing, again Mitch was the kind of contractor I like dealing with. I told him we wanted an energy efficient, mid size, high end system. He offered sound suggestions and then very promptly provided us with clear cut, detailed proposals on several brands and sizes, with his COMPLETE SET PRICE for everything involved. Another AC contractor, more typical of what we have dealt with before in Florida, started with a much higher price for identical systems and then proceeded to reduce the price with a series of "special deals". The bottom line of the "deal maker" was still a bit higher than Mitch's set price. Even had the pushy 'deal maker' offered me a better price, we would have gone with M&R because Mitch impressed me as very trustworthy.
