"We had a minor flooding incident in our basement caused by heavy rain.  I called MJ the next morning and John came out later that day.  Based on his assessment we elected to move forward with carpet and water removal immediately, which started later that night.  The two guys who came to do the work, Chris and Raymond, were exceptional!  They worked steadily until just after midnight to complete the initial cleanup job, including moving a lot of our stuff around the basement to facilitate their work. <br /> The guys came back a few days later to remove any wall material that had been damaged.  After <br /> inspecting the walls, we decided that no water had reached the drywall and it didn?t need to be removed/replaced.  This saved a lot of work, allowing me to begin the flooring replacement project much sooner. <br /> We opted to have a French drain system installed to mitigate future risk as well.  It was a little challenging to schedule this project, but the guys completed that job in under a day as well.  They also inspected the walls and foundation, and made a few repairs where needed. <br /> Melissa was a joy to work with throughout the process, always quick with an email or text reply to keep us informed about the <br /> scheduling progress.  The overall cost was below what I expected to pay for such an extensive project and the service <br /> was top-notch at every turn. <br /> I hope the measures we now have in place will prevent a reoccurrence, but would definitely call MJ again to handle this kind of <br /> flooding recovery.  They were fast, efficient, thorough, and cost effective.  Thanks for the great work!"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Heavy thunderstorms this year plus Sandy last year.  We started seeing water marks on the ceiling in several rooms, particularly in the living room near the fireplace.  On a Friday afternoon, checked Angie's list called a company that did not return the call, checked the list again and called OC Elite Construction.  Jon came over Saturday, looked on the roof and checked in the attic - found the problem(s) and provided an estimate.  The next day, SUNDAY!, OC Elite came to the house in the morning and completed all the work we needed done.  Thanks to Jon and his crew fro a quick and professional solution. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Next time the roof needs attention (or, replacing) we will go to OC Elite Construction first. <br />"

"They custom make the windows and Fed-Ex them to you. We installed them ourselves to save money. Once we put them in, we couldn't hear outside noise anymore. It made a world of difference. I think it has also helped insulate my home a little. For the cost, I think it would have been twice as much to have the windows replaced."
