"A tech "Graham" came out for an annual maintenance visit on a reliable 15 year old York Furnace with a 20 year guarantee on the heat exchanger which Blue Flame installed in 2010. He could not explain why he was here, and when I told him "routine annual maintenance" he said, "Let's see what we can find". That was the first sign we had opposite agendas. It went south from there. After lots of loud grinding noises, he supposedly found a shiny jagged gash which he showed me on a scope. I am extremely suspicious he created it himself with a power tool. The end result was the furnace was no longer usable and cost me $8K to have them replace. To add insult to injury that guy ruined my screen door, which won't close anymore. I have ended my 15 year relationship with this company, since I no longer trust them."

I drove 1.5 hours to the service site, only to be met with confusion and poor communication. When I called at 12:30 to ask for a specific arrival time, I was told the technician would contact me 30 minutes before arriving—but they couldn’t give me a time estimate. I waited another 2.5 hours before receiving a call informing me that no technician would be coming at all. My only options were to reschedule or cancel. I asked to speak with a manager and was placed on long hold. Eventually, I was told the manager was “too busy” to speak with me and would call me later. That call never came. This experience was a complete waste of time and resources, and the lack of accountability was appalling. Hunt’s HVAC Services failed to honor their commitment, communicate effectively, or show basic courtesy. I strongly advise others to stay away from this business."
