"Great!! Two different handymen, two different occasions. Both men were professional and friendly. Replacing the interior door took some time, and it was worth it! Dean was meticulous (and went up and down the stairs so many times) to make sure the door fit properly in the frame and opened easily over the carpet (which the previous door never did). Separately our front stoop needed repair - pulling off the existing stone/brick that was deteriorating and replacing it with bluestone. James does beautiful work - he is a master in masonry. Coming out of lockdown and having both men show up with all the necessary PPE put me at ease - they were being very careful and following all the guidelines. I've already scheduled them for more work. Well worth the price!!"

"Very well! Ricardo arrived at my home to perform an estimate exactly on time and explained everything entailed in performing the repairs. After a few weeks, I had Five Star Flooring do the work. The technicians arrived on time and completed the work very quickly. The end result was great, especially in the kitchen where the wooden floor finish was very worn and damaged. It didn't look like new, but I hadn't expected it to, either, since it was in very bad shape. Only one hitch: the workers who performed the work failed to tell me that the finish needed to "cure" for two weeks. After one week, I vacuumed the floor and it left streaks in the finish. I called Ricardo back, and he explained about not cleaning it for two weeks. Within several days, one of his workers returned and repaired the finish at no additional charge. I am very pleased with the overall experience and will definitely use Five Star Flooring the next time I need wooden floor repairs."

"The boards on the porch of our house were rotting and needed to be
replaced, during the quoting process we decided on the materials to use we wanted Ipe boards (Expensive at $6.25 per linear foot ... but we felt well worth the price) Trust Builders LLC gave us the best quote of all received ranging between $13,000
to $22,000.  They came to our house after getting all of the necessary permits and arranging a trash skip.  Jim the foreman and master carpenter modeled supports for the roof that was sagging, removed the columns and boarding. 
The framing and footings under the porch were then inspected and found to be unsuitable for use.  Further funding was
required for the new footings and framing, these were added to the original quote of $13,000 and came to around $2000 (cost price for materials).
The porch was completed to spec and within budget within two weeks.
We are thrilled with the new porch and are probably going to hire Trust Builders LLC to build out our attic space."

When the work was scheduled to be performed, the installers were knowledgeable professionals, who showed up on time and worked long hours to get the work complete within the two date estimate.

The work was done with respect for my property and without undue interruptions. The installers were also very pleasant and informative.

Dave Condin was the final person who came to do quality control. He is an amazing and talented person. He is fun to talk with and seems to be the ultimate problem solver.

A week after the installation we are now facing a heat wave, and I can already see the benefits of this program. My house does not heat up because of the attic. The air conditioning runs less frequently, and the house seem far more comfortable.

The best part is that PEPCO agrees to a rebate off the cost of the installation. This makes the process and unbelievable bargain.

He would not leave until I was comfortable, and even then advised me to call if I needed anything or had more questions. He was amazing.!!! A few days after my system was installed, I triggered a false alarm. The monitoring station called right away and did not hang up until assured that all was well. I did not have to wait or try to call them and get put on hold like with my old system. I only wish that I had more houses for them to install their system into, but since I don't, I plan to refer them to everyone that I know. 1st Security is affordable, state of the art and comprehensive. They are honest with no fine print that you have to worry about! I sincerely appreciate Jeremy and Larry and sleep so much better because of them . Thank you 1st Security!!!"

"Frank Tedeschi and his men did an amazing job. The buffet had sustained substantial damage, both to the interior (drawer and frame crushed by an unsecured heavy shelf board) and the exterior (multiple scratches and dents, and two drawer faces that required replacing). Frank went to a great deal of trouble to match the wood that needed replacing, and the repaired and refinished piece looks as if it had never been damaged in the first place. We are more than delighted with the result! Frank and his crew had previously done a great job stripping and refinishing a large mid-century book/display shelf for us."
