"Changing my 5 star review to 2 stars. We have had a HE Boiler as well as a AC/Heat Pump installed by them. Unfortunately we needed service today. I was willing to pay for Emergency service. They said they couldn't make it out for 14 days, because we did not have a service contract. Spent about $25k for the installations. Which apparently means nothing to them What makes matters worse, the Emergency Service we paid through another HVAC provider was only necessary because of an issue they created during the installation. During the installation Speer Air originally ran the line for the residual pump over the copper hot water line. Which over time burned through the residual line, and then cause a hole and leak on the copper pipe."

From day one the system never worked ? 80°F inside in summer, ~60°F in winter, weak airflow, and units running nonstop. The owner at the time, Phil, personally sold me the job. I asked for proper load calculations. He refused, saying he ?knows these houses? and already installed the same system for my neighbors. Later I learned that was not true ? no calculations were done, and he never worked for my neighbors. For four years I complained. Instead of fixing the root issue, Alfano kept sending different techs. Every visit came with a different explanation, temporary small fixes, and more bills.
