Explained to me what was wrong and how to prevent further problems. The service charge was less than I expected on a weekend. I would not hesitate to call Kettle Moraine Heating & Air Conditioning again."

"I was in the middle of selling a home when my furnace failed inspection due to a cracked heat exchanger. If that wasn't frustrating enough, I contacted several well known companies in the area and all of them wouldn't be able to complete a new furnace install for a couple weeks.... did I mention that I am in the middle of selling my house! I decided to turn to Home Advisor to see if my luck would change. This is where I met Bob (number 1) from Mamayek. I told him about my situation and he came out the same day to look at what I would need. After checking things out, Bob explained what I would need and gave me a quote. He was a really nice guy and we shared some stories of our military service as he set up. Bob number 1 showed up a short time later and things started to progress quickly. Before I knew it the furnace install was complete. Everything looked great and I once again had heat! I would recommend this company to anyone who isn't looking to overpay for a new furnace. You will get the same quality service as the big name companies without the big pricetag."

"Swimmingly. I interviewed quite a number of HVAC companies for this job by sending out an RPF (Request for Proposal), and Bob Mamayek was unquestionably the most thorough in his on-site evaluation. Installation crew was fantastic. This is a small shop, and it was a true pleasure to have a team of regular guys just getting the job done. I recommend them without reservation. I almost gave them a B for responsiveness because Bob doesn't do a lot of email, but I realized while typing that this would be completely unfair, for two reasons. A) Bob might not respond to email with email, but he did always respond with a phone call. Frankly, that is better on many counts. B) This ignores the amazing response to my RPF, which was both timely and thorough. So, really, this says more about my email-centric life than Mamayek's responsiveness."

"They replaced both my furnace and air conditioner (coil and outside unit), removed and disposed of my old units, installed a whole house humidifier, and cleaned my ductwork. They were very professional and personable, and completed everything but the ductwork cleaning in one day. I wasn't able to be home for the entire project, but they raised and leveled the new air conditioning unit as I requested, and explained the functioning of the wi-fi thermostat before I left, and all the installation areas were clean when I came home. They completed the ductwork cleaning on a different date, and this service was also done very well. My only concerns or "complaints" would be that they used clean rounded stone beneath the air conditioning unit and I'm not convinced that it won't shift or settle over time; and they removed a vent that supplied heat to the basement so now the basement is very cold."
