They provided an estimate of over $7,000 to replace multiple control boards, a blower motor, and a thermostat. After their visit, we had the system inspected by another HVAC professional. The actual issue turned out to be a cut wire and a failed thermostat. The blower motor and control boards were functioning properly. Once repaired, the system works normally. Total repair cost was under $800. When we disputed the diagnostic charge due to the incorrect diagnosis, the company refused to adjust the invoice and compared the situation to ?getting a second medical opinion,? rather than acknowledging the misdiagnosis. They only gave her a 5% discount, they also didn't provide any information about the system? No information was provided also about health of system or checkpoint system used; (PSI of freon, lubrication, filters, drain lines, etc) When I called up Allred and asked for them to provide the 10% discount like they promised they said they would, and she would see it on her Credit Card. A couple of weeks went by and nothing. I called again, they apologized and said they would follow up ensure that the service team sent the information to us and provided the discount and called me back directly. After another week, NOTHING! While the work was completed successfully. The communication and follow up of this company are terrible to say the least. I wouldn't recommend Allred to anyone, or trust them at all :-("
