He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it, and then, since I was paying for a service call, he cleaned my condenser coils. He was finished in less than an hour. Great experience. The only negative comment I might make is that James' service van left a couple of nasty oil stains on my concrete driveway. I would recommend that service vehicles never park in a customer's driveway, especially when there is ample parking in the street."

Gary Gates was older, great work ethic, experienced, and had EVERYTHING on his truck to repair or replace my hot water tank. Being in a rural area, that was a new one for me. Usually service people have to go back to town for parts. He spoke directly to HomeServe on the phone; got them to understand a repair would still require a replacement very soon and be a waste of money, so they agreed to the replacement; I agreed to pay the cost of the upgrades I needed to be to code and he installed the new water heater. It was a very seamless job, and done very clean and neat, with good information all along the way about what I needed to do to take good care of it too. Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. "Calvin and his wife Sarah have been amazing. Their customer service skills are going to be hard to beat. Calvin was very honest and upfront about the work that needed to be done. He did not try to sneak in extra work to up the cost after he started and got out whole hvac system replaced in 1 day! Even before he started work, they followed up after doing the initial estimate. Unfortunately I had a death in the family and had to push the work out almost a whole month later than planned and both Calvin and Sarah were amazing.
