"I am primarily writing this review to relate how Southland Heating and Air responded when we discovered a problem. Once installed, our A/C worked well and we had no problems... around December, after we had been using our heater exclusively (no A/C), I decided to simply run the A/C to test it, blow it out and be sure everything was running well. What I discovered was a BAD smell with the A/C... which we presumed was the dreaded 'dirty sock' syndrome... Needless to say, we were horrified... particularly after spending a lot of money to have AC installed. WELL, I am happy to relate that Southland Heating and Air were VERY responsive, took the time to diagnose the problem and - we feel - went above and beyond to be sure we were satisfied. Ultimately - for whatever reason - our installed HVAC coil was contaminated. Following a few tries at lesser fixes, Southland simply replaced the coil and we were back up and running. Their service guys and technician were highly professional, always on time and truly worked to fix the problem. Since the coil replacement, we have had no problems and we are happy to report that our system runs like a charm. When you are spending a lot of money for this sort of upgrade you truly want to know that your install company stands by their products and work and won't leave you hanging out to dry if and when there is a problem. Southland took care of us and took care of business."

"This was by far the best experience I've had when it involves repairs. My heater had been broken for a year. Because I'm on a fixed income, I couldn't afford to replace it. Quotes from others all recommended replacement. HD Mechanical gave me an estimate for repair and it was fixed right away, an at a fair price. Brandon and Tim are the best and are professional and dedicated to getting the job done without trying to upsell to unnecessary replacement. It works fantastic. "Unfortunately, I needed an HVAC company to fix my AC during a heat wave. Most companies were 5+ days out before they could even diagnose our problem. Called 3 highly visible companies, from their marketing, who said they wouldn't even work on our unit. I went with a referral from a neighbor, mistake. This company took a week to get to us then the tech went MIA for 5 days with no contact when he said he would be back tomorrow with parts. Won't mention their name as there could have been multiple uncontrollable reasons why. I then did a lot of research on different companies across multiple review websites (including Angies) and Excel Air stood out. Once I spoke to the office staff, great experience, they had a tech out to our home in 2 days with our problem diagnosed. Our tech's name was Lucas who was efficient with his time, talked me through what was going on and gave us our estimate which we were happy to move forward with. Lucas fixed our problem in under 20 minutes. Me being me, I watched each step and saw the quality work. He even put in a fuse to ensure the same problem didn't happen again to our transformer. Once he fixed everything and got our new thermostat power, our AC has been working perfectly ever since. I'm now a really big supporter of Excel Air. Their office staff worked with our insurance company after hours and actually updated us (what company does this these days) the entire way. I can't tell you how impressed I was from their office, Lucas and most of all their successful resolution of our problems with our AC. Thank you Excel Air!"

"I was looking for a company to replace my hydronic heating system and inefficient condenser with a new heat pump condenser, as well as a new furnace system to support the heat pump condenser. I reached out to two companies and OC Excel quoted me a much more reasonable price, and both company informed me at the time of quote that they would need to cut open a portion of my condo’s ceiling where the furnace was at, but they will patch it back/know someone that would patch it back. On the day of the job, OC Excel did everything they could to avoid cutting my ceiling, so I wouldn’t need to patch it back later and have the marks, and they were able to do it!
