"I contacted several companies to get quotes on installing a mini-split AC/Heating unit in our bedroom. Russell Dodd from NETR came promptly and explained the entire system and installation in detail. Came back to review the installation before the install date. The NETR arranged the date and everyone involved in the installation showed up on time and performed in a professional, expert fashion. When everything was done, they explained how to work the unit and how to get an energy rebate. My only caution is not related to NETR, but make sure you have thoroughly evaluated your needs before going ahead. It is possible to heat/cool more than one spaces with one exterior heat pump unit and I didn't think about using it to heat my garage until too late. <br />"

"They were extremely responsive and professional. Someone was dispatched to my home within 24 hours. He accurately diagnosed the problem - that the condensate pump had failed and needed to be replaced. He offered to replace it immediately because he had the part on his truck. The price quote ranged from $1350-$2100 depending on length of warranty I preferred. This seemed extremely high because I had the part replaced once before 3-4 years ago by another company for approx $400. I mentioned that to the installer; he indicated that the price was the price and he was sorry he couldn’t lower it. I found the identical pump online for prices ranging from $35-$75! It looked like an easy swap, so instead of paying Rodenhiser, I ordered the part from Amazon, received it the next day. I have zero experience or training and was able to swap it and fix the problem in literally 10 minutes. I understand that service companies need to charge for labor and mark up parts costs, but a repair I could do in 10 mins for under $50 should not have carried a $1350+ price tag! This was very disappointing, and I will not use them again."

"They are really a top notch company: - they responded immediately to the inquiry - they sent Brian, an experienced HVAC solutions salesman. He â got itâ . We have a 1951-built house, with these 3.5â round â spider legâ ducts, heat only. We were told by other companies that those had to be replaced, and the result costed 2.5 x as much! He was the one who figured out if we ran a return duct up to the second floor, we could have A/C up to the second floor. - we had oil and converted to gas, purchased a new gas-fired unit and new central A/C using the existing ducts - the installers were top notch, worked non stop and were clean. They did not drag out the project. The communication between Brian and them was complete, they understood the various pieces of the scope. - we had a small hiccup in the beginning getting the initial work scheduled, but after that the front office was communicative on when folks would be coming out and completing the project. Not just their own workers but also their subs (electricians in our case, we hired plumber separately). - Iâ m now sitting in central a/c! And no more 15 degree difference walking up to the second floor. I highly recommend ARS from top to bottom. Itâ s been both a pleasure and a relief having them work for us."

"My electrician from Cotti-Johnson HVAC was a master electrician. If you get him, you are getting the best. I went with the most expensive work package of the 3 that were presented. First off, it was pricey. I knew that going in. I want Cotti-Johnson to understand that I am serious about a working relationship with them. I feel I have done that with their electrical department. Now, if I need their plumbing or HVAC service, our relationship can build off the first experience."
