"I was absolutely thrilled with the responsiveness and diligence with which my garage door repair was completed. I had the pleasure of dealing directly with the owner who was courteous, knowledgeable, proficient, neat, expedient and very fair with his prices. I own a fair amount of real estate and use Overheadz Garage Doors for all of my garage door (repair, replacement garage door openers) needs. I would not call anyone else. "Tech found and corrected the problem within 1 minute (excellent). Would have been very happy to pay the quoted fee of $70 for the service call. But tech then proceeded to criticize the equipment of the doors claiming they were underpowered. The openers are 12 years old, and this was the very first problem I had with them, and that was because someone bumped the eye and put it out of alignment. Not so much a repair as an adjustment. Tech also tried to sell me an upgrade kit for $700/door. When I asked about possible tune-up service, he took a can of lube out of the truck (which he said I could buy at Home Depot) and sprayed the tracks on 3 doors. Then the price jumped from $70 to $350 ($150/door with a $30 "discount coupon" for the third). Really would have like it if he had told me before hand how much I would be paying for his 25 minute visit. He did no other service on the doors. I was really pleased how quickly they responded, but company really should advise people before hand re: additional charges, especially that much."

"Ricardo is a a very patient ,responsive, and personable person. I received an estimate on a Thursday and we started the job  a few days later on Monday. The whole job which was a lot of space to cover took 6 days and they arrived early and stayed late when necessary.               
They removed molding and repainted it which is rare with floor installation specialists . In the past, when I had this done at another one of my properties I had to get a  painter to do this trim work. It was nice that they did everything and I didn't have to call someone else to do the paint and molding work.
They also covered everything with plastic throughout my house. I was a little nervous given I have a lot of high end electronics and speakers but  they were covered properly. 
 My house looks great and overall is was a very good experience.

"We are very pleased. We interviewed a number of security companies and received proposals including DIY to the big national and regional companies. I was not satisfied with any of the companies until I learned of 1stSecurity. Their pricing was good, both for the monthly fee ($40) and for the cost of the equipment. The manager, Jeremy, was very open and straightforward. The installer was also excellent. We asked them to install system prior to a trip we were taking in a few days and they met this short timeframe. The installation took 1-2 hours. The equipment we purchased was fairly extensive as we have a fairly large house and we wanted comprehensive coverage. This included 2 glass break sensors, a motion detector, and numerous door and window switches as well as a fire detection monitor. I accidentally set off the alarm and received a call from the monitoring company in under 10 seconds. The control panel for the system is an easy to use touch screen device, similar to an iPad. The system is very capable so you can connect smart devices to it if so inclined. We have been very pleased with the product and service so far (about 2 months)."
