"The existing baseboard heating was linked by pipes under the concrete floor. I wanted the entire old system removed and replaced with an above-floor system. I could not have asked for more professional treatment by the Sila team. They were always quick to respond and right on time. Their work was professionally done with special attention to limit damage to existing walls. They worked cleanly and with great care and safety. Pricing was slightly higher than other estimates, but I went with a good feeling and made the right choice. I would certainly go with Sila again."

"Two men, Jerry and Tommy, arrived on the morning of May 19, 2017 to install the system. Tommy dug a hole on one side of the house, poured a concrete foundation in said hole, and also set up metal tubing, which created a stand on which the condenser sits to protect it from runoff. Meanwhile, Jerry was inside, drilling holes through my bedroom and dining room interior and then exterior walls for the refrigerant pipes which run from the condenser to the air handlers. He mounted each air handler high up on the wall. There was also electrical work performed to connect the units to the main panel in the basement. The whole job took several hours. Both men worked quickly and efficiently. At the close of it, Jerry presented me with my remotes and instructions, and showed me the basics. I used the system for the first time just a couple of nights after installation. The first night (it was the start of a heat wave) the air from the system was cool-ish - tolerable, but not quite as comfortable as I'd hoped - but I was still uncertain about the controls so I didn't tab down the temperature. The second night I did tab down the temperature, and that's when I found out that, though the fans and vanes in both air handlers worked, the cooling mechanisms did not. Considering the amount of money I'd just spent i was more than a little upset. Visions of law suits danced in my overheated head that night. I called the next morning. Jerry came out that day and diagnosed the problem (something to do with the solenoids, or maybe it was the thermistors). In any case, he did fix it, and this time, it worked as designed, and has done so ever since. I should add that NETR offers a service contract. Despite the added expense - for me, 234.99 a year for 3 years (the annual rate is fixed for that period, plus I get a 5% discount) - it makes total sense to have this complex system undergo periodic maintenance. I will pay the total at the time of the first inspection, in 2018."

He diagnosed why the burner had shut down showed me the issue and what needed to be done. I have had Genove come into my home every year and they are outstanding. Very professional and they take the time to listen as well as breakdown solutions if I have an issue with my heating system. I will continue to rely on them for my service."

"UIC was quick to respond and come up with the quote. Quote was very competitive against others. They were not so eager to do service on my old water heater though (I asked them to replace anode rods). I decided to go with them since their availability was good (2wks) and ratings on AngiesList were excellent while price was competitive. The job went well, though not without hiccups. I was expecting new boiler to be placed on the wall next to the foundation; though they built a new wall in the middle of the mechanical room, which costed me space; they said it will be 3K more to put in on the wall AFTER they arrived on the job with all the equipment and team. They refused to drain old water from my radiant heat system, saying I need a plumber to come for $290 per hour for 4 hours to drain the system and look for preexisting leaks. Had to hire some other plumber who took care of the problem for $215 in a mere hour. After the project was complete, system started to experience leaks. It was due to new drain connector that they decided to use for this project, and I was apparently first customer for it. After 3 unsuccessful attempts to fix the leak, they had to replace the connector, which addressed the issue. In addition, the system was eligible for rebate; however the rebate amount promised ended up being $450 less than actually paid; they quoted natural gas rebate though my system was on propane, which I told them upfront."

This was important to me because the boiler sits below our family room, and the noise level of the boiler was as issue. His proposals listed several boiler options, based on heating efficiency, which were competitively priced. The installation was run by Steve, who was able to fit in the installation the next week. Steve, and his crews, were punctual and courteous, and the installation went smoothly. It's only been a week, but I am very pleased with my Bosch boiler, the quality of the work, the price paid, and the timeliness of the installation."

"Contacted company to obtain estimate along with other companies. Darren was very responsive even though he was headed out on vacation for a long weekend. He did follow-up with email to make sure I understand his proposal which none of the other companies did that provided an estimate. I did contract with Atlantic to replace my old system which was 20+ years old. They came to the house (Darren, Liam and Adam) before starting the work so they could review the plans for starting the following Monday. They did confirm everything with me including the start time. I was contacted at the end of each day with an updated status on the work. The job took two and 1/2 days to complete and the basement was left clean after their work. Communication was excellent as well as explaining what they may need to do in the basement to ensure that everything was up to current code. Both Liam and Adam were professional and polite."

"Jose was out Monday to perform annual maintenance. His attention to detail was amazing. I never saw such a complete maintenance job. As you know he was out before consulting on our need for a 3rd return. we discussed it again and he recommended to add it to the 2nd floor rather the first as we originally thought. He gave us an estimate and was able to do it immediately. I was incredibly impressed at how he worked so careful and considerate. Again his attention to detail and craftsmanship would make most finish carpenters jealous. In the end we had a new return on the 2nd floor. When the system runs now it run 12 db quieter overall (he even was able to turn the fan from medium to high) and when I turn the thermostat from 65 to 70 it takes the ambient room temperature to 70 in 5 minutes versus 20 minutes with 2 returns. I know when A/C season starts we will see even more improvement. I've used Boston Standard for a few projects in my home now including a mini-split ductless system for my office space, a tankless water heater and a whole house humidifer. Their advice and installation on all of these was flawless! Definitely check this out"
