"I met Robert for an estimate. Robert is a straight shooter, gave a competitive estimate, and no pressure at all. I decided to go with him after another estimate I got was borderline gouging. I was impressed with how efficiently and quickly his crew worked. These guys know what they are doing. Many companies can insulate an attic but Attic Air can also replace attic and bathroom fans. Make sure your soffit though has holes in it to let air into the attic. This was an optional piece for me but the crew chief explained to me the new attic fan that was being installed would burn out if there was not enough air coming in from the soffit for the fans to circulate. I also took advantage to replace two other very old bathroom fans with more powerful Panasonic 100 cfm LED fans to take advantage of the crew being in the attic. My second floor used to be 3 degrees cooler than what the thermostat showed on the first floor, but is now 1 degree or no difference. I am hoping I won't need a separate cooler fan in the summer on the second floor. Didn't need a separate heater for winter at least or shiver unless I brought up the temperature on first floor."

"Green Attic did a fantastic job! They showed up when they said they would and completed the project on time. The crew was professional and friendly. The project manager shared pictures of their work throughout the day and at the end of the project. They cleaned up each day, so the home was left spotless. Big shout out to the crew that included Edison, Keiman and Ronaldo. If you’re looking for a great company to handle big or small insulation job, call Green Attic. They may not be the least expensive, but they will do the best work."

"I'm proud to hear my son, Robert Wolfrum, is working for Perma-Seal. I first used Perma-Seal in the 80's for a foundation crack repair in our South Holland, IL home and then again at our Tinley Park, IL home. Both experiences were memorable and professional and fixed our basement water problems. It is good to know that my son is working for a reputable company that has been doing quality work for decades. I was surprised to hear that they do insulation and concrete leveling."

"It turns out that it wasn't and they suggested that we install insulation in our attic."

"Had USA out to discuss insulating attic and exterior walls.  The concluded that doing exterior walls was not needed.
Recommended putting several inches in the attic.  There was almost nothing up there.  The product used has a good recommendation.  compared it to several other products.
Very clean and efficient.  Arrived almost an hour before schedule.  Called an hour before arriving to say they were on the way.  Laid tarps to protect carpet.  Finished in about 3/4 the time I expected.  Cleaned up everything.
Great experience.

"My experience started out talking with Stacey from Eco Tec who is very professional. She worked with me through the estimating process wherein she provided a quote that kicked the pants off a few others that I had received. Further however, she understands the foam application process, R-values, process that the installers follow and most of all, expectations for the customer (I am a homeowner, not a builder/GC). Then came the installation. The crew showed up in a timely fashion and were completely professional. I knew that closed cell foam installation was a messy business and Stacey explained the process that the installers would follow to protect the surrounding areas from overspray. Well, I was impressed by the preparation work that they did as they covered everything from top to bottom including miscellaneous construction materials, tools and the entire floor. When the foam application was complete, they trimmed all excess from the stud bays, gathered up all spoils and removed everything including the protective coverings. When the crew left our house, there was little evidence that they had been here aside from the insulation in our walls. I was speechless. So far, of all the contractors that I've dealt with during my remodel, Eco Tec is within the top decile. As an engineer that works in construction, I have come to expect good service from the contractors that I hire. Unfortunately, I have had a lot of less than perfect experiences with other installers that I've hired. Eco Tec is easily at the top of my list. From estimate to execution, this has been a simply wonderful experience. I highly recommend them."

"I called several HVAC companies and none were able to respond immediately. Then I spoke to Shawn at Climate Master. He was able to diagnose the problem over the phone . It wasn't something that could be fixed that day. But Shawn stopped in on his way to another call just to verify that he was correct in his assessment. It was so reassuring and he called the office to make sure someone could come the next morning. Chuck came out Monday morning and took care of everything quickly to have our AC up and running. Turns out part of the problem was an improperly set fan speed when the AC was installed. This is a great company, trustworthy and efficient. Thanks so much to Angie's List for helping me find them!!"

"Great, we can't wait to see the drop in our energy bills and we know we don't have to do it again unlike traditional insulation methods.  They were very informative and made sure we understood everything before the work was done.  They put down plastic to protect our floors and the cleaned up everything as well.  Yes, it may cost a little more, but the satisfaction of knowing we don't have to do it again and that the procedure really addresses the real issues makes us feel good about our investment.

"We had a pipe burst and flood our garden-level rental unit. We called General Moisture Solutions at 10pm on a Sunday night and Greg and his crew were onsite the next morning at 8:30am. Their response time was fantastic upfront and the work went pretty quickly. From start to finish it took about 2 1/2 weeks to finish the job (counting the time to order and get cabinets and granite countertop delivered)....We didn't always know the crew's schedule or the order in which job-steps were going to be completed, which was the only negative I can come up with. Communication with the crew could have been better. But overall, Greg helped us manage a really stressful situation and the end result looks great."

".I researched many different options to encapsulate my dirt floor basement crawlspace from taped liners to cement, and I am so glad that I decided to go with the polyurea seamless liner that this company specializes in installing.  Josh, a company representative, came out, looked over the crawlspace,, took measurements and pictures, and the next day I received two quotes from Chuck Modica - one for the crawlspace encapsulation only and one for the encapsulation with the drain tile system and sump pump.  Chuck even made a special trip to my house to inspect the crawlspace to see if he thought a drain tile system was necessary.  Throughout the process there was no hard sell,  He  gave me the facts and answered all my questions in a confident, professional manner.  I was especially impressed when Chuck showed up with the crew to help with the job.  They removed tree roots that had grown under the foundation into the crawlspace, broke up and removed a huge bolder that had been there for some unknown reason probably for a hundred years, and even leveled the crawlspaces under my front porch which were not part of the bided project.  When I returned from a weekend trip and looked at the finished project, I couldn't be happier with the completed job.  My tenet who lives below me and does her laundry in the cemented front portion of the basement separate from the crawlspace noticed a difference in the air quality right away.  Chuck also e-mailed about a long ago disconnected pipe  that was slow leaking from an outside valve.,  He arranged the pipe so it drained into the tile system and offered to have one of his crew members who has a key to the outside drainage system come out to shut off the valve causing the leak  The company and employes go the extra mile to make sure you are a satisfied customer and I am one.
