The representative quoted me $89 plus tax and promised a technician would arrive in 15 minutes. Instead, the technician arrived 50 minutes late and was unprofessional and rude from the start. Although it took him less than 15 seconds to unlock my car, he then demanded $350?nearly four times the original quote. When I explained that I only had $120 (which I had borrowed from a coworker), he began "negotiating," dropping his price to $189, then $150. When I refused to pay the inflated price, he became aggressive, slammed my car door?intentionally locking it back up?and drove off, leaving me stranded again. Because of this, I had to call a taxi to get from Blacklick to Plumwood and was over an hour late to the school where I teach.
