"Ken called before he came and got here on time. He was alone as he said his helper was not to be there today. He worked hard. Explained everything about my AC unit inside, air ducts and advised of things I could make it better and also what things my regular service checks should look for. He opened and cleaned the entire ac unit of ducts, sucked out, did each register, cleaned those outside and sucked and cleaned out with a roto brush while sucking. Put all back together. Little mess. I just swept floors and vacuumed a bit. His units to decrease mold installed are so much cheaper than any others! This guy is great and busy. Only Takes checks or cash, but only $199.00 for unlimited ducts /one unit. He works hard and alone took 3 hours! Good work. Sanitize also! House is clean! Thank you ! Telling my Neighbors!"

"Forget the rest, go with the BEST, TOM @ MODERN AIR. Tom, the owner of Modern Air, contacted me immediately after I put in a request with HomeAdvisor. I explained my problem to him & he suggested that we meet the next day at 11 AM. At EXACTLY 11 AM, he arrived (was shocked). He immediately went to work diagnosing my concerns. My main A/C unit was less than 2 years old, but my air handler was 10 years old (probably on its last legs, my opinion). I could not get the temperature below 80 degrees. He found that the freon was at 1/3 the recommended level. He recommended a coil cleaning before doing a leak test. I gave him the go ahead & he did a GR8 job, with a professional cleaning solution & tools. I had done a 'do-it-yourself' coil cleaning a couple of months ago & was astonished at the amount of 'crap' that came off the coils. I won't do that myself again. He then did a full leak test with 'state of the art' equipment on the main unit & handler & could only find a potentially small leak in the air handler coil. As he felt that the leak was VERY small, he suggested (& I agreed to) infusing a leak sealer/dye chaser into the system. He felt that this would hopefully resolve the issue & if not, at least identify where the leak would be located. AT NO TIME DURING HIS SERVICE CALL, DID HE TRY TO SELL/UPGRADE me on a new air handler or anything else for that matter (VERY big surprise). He also corrected some wiring issues with the water evacuation pump & reprogrammed the thermostat, both for FREE (I had personally done a poor job installing a new evacuation pump last year). He proceeded to replenish the Freon to the correct levels. He then thoroughly cleaned up any mess that was created during his coil cleaning & other work done. We sat down to review exactly what he had done & the related the material & labor cost of the service call. I was blown away, not only by his professionalism & conscientious service, but also the reasonable cost. Unlike many other service persons that I have dealt with in the past, he definitely wasn't trying to rush the job to get to his next appointment or upsell me on replacing something that wasn't needed. Tom really knows the "long term future" value of customer service & professionalism. BOTTOM LINE, it has been 10 days since his service call & I am sitting in my den with a sweater on, its 92 degrees outside & my wife is talking to me again. Would I call him again for annual maintenance or service? Would I have him replace the air handler when the time came? WITHOUT HESITATION!!!, he is in my phone's speed dial. Damon R. in Lar"

"The Morris Refrigeration Team was excellent.  They came out and gave me a free estimate and I approved the job right away.  Their crew showed up at my house the next day on time and where very courteous.  They did their job promptly and cleaned up after they were done.  They also took the time to explain how to use the new thermostat and made sure that my home was warm before they left.  They also explained the warranty and maintenance agreement to me.  I must say they were very helpful and informative.  I will recommend this company any day of the week. <br />"

"1. Work quality hard to see, since duct is in the attic. There were 2 installers who were enthusiastic to do the work and cleaned up, besides disposing the old duct. I did NOT get a picture of the finished work -- that would help! 2. Customer Service was inconclusive, since my initial email of concern was never answered. I received blank email invoices for a deposit receipt. Their customer service were courteous. However, I never thought I was speaking directly to the Company--when calling you had to choose which of 3 different Businesses you wanted ?? The Sales Person was very effective in noting the work and location, where the work took place. He collected a deposit for which he emailed me a blank receipt for deposit. Unfortunately, after departing, he could not be bothered in rectifying the situation and referred me back to that customer service/ Call Center. FYI: NO ONE connected with this Job followed up!! 3. The value for money can only be answered by what my need was, and the affordability. This part worked out very well for me. I had one &#34;problem duct&#34; causing a ceiling vent leak. I could not afford to get the whole house re-ducted, thus, I needed to address the direct problem at hand: replacing one duct, which was better than repair! This is where ONE AIR really came through by just replacing with one NEW DUCT. As result, I paid an affordable fraction of price to accomplish the immediate cause. This bought me time for when I can afford to replenish the whole house. With this consideration and trial I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN --AND hopefully the Company will have settled to improve communications. Thank you Angi P.S. I originally wanted to use Strong on your list. James (Owner) kept me waiting 2 Weeks, stalling and then says he wanted to charge $140.00 just to come and see what the job was. After, that he was hard to contact with no response -- and this is how the course went. I decided to contact someone else. I would not consider Strong Unlimited AT ALL!!"
