"Wow! Amazing service. I must've called 8 different places in a panic trying to get the brick mounts which hold the mantel removed from my old fireplace so the surface could be prepped for a new TV. Seemed like an easy task (I thought), but it was a little more meticulous than I thought. I called this team and they arrived same day! Incredible customer service and expertise. Not only did they return the day after providing an estimate and remove the brick mounts, they actually re-fabricated the brick to make the holes disappear! This team knows their stuff!! I was so impressed that in the Spring I'd like them to come and do some masonry work for me. Highly recommend. "The job went fine. They also did follow up. They were okay. We had a part that was under warranty going out. It took the guy couple of weeks to replace because he didn't have that particular part on hand. The guy who owns the company was little spacey. I would recommend them. Once he finally got the part, he came out and installed on the actual initial installation of the stove. They came and told they were going to come. It took longer than they told it would. There wasn't any issue managing them. They came and did the job in the timeframe they told they would do it. There were not much thoughts that they got it done."

"It turned out fine. I have no complaints. The work was performed on time. There was some additional work that they prescribed, that we conducted. The fire box in the fireplace was missing some tiles. So it was a safety matter that they pointed out to us, and they repaired it. They charged extra for the extra service they performed for the safety matter. I am always cautions about providers up saling, but there was a true safety issue with the fireplace. It was a legitimate up charge. I can't think of anything they could have done better. I always reserve A's for people who do super super exceptional service. These guys were good, but there wasn't anything super exceptional about them except they were on time and did the job they were supposed to do. The thing that stood out the most to me is that they were on time."

"Great job. Our fireplace was falling away from the house due to water leaks and rotted wood. We hired Chimney.com to remove the old insert, rebuild the support, remove the brick surrounding the fireplace, install a new insert, and replace drywall. "I received A+ service from Granite Works. I met Bruno Valente, one of the co-owners, on my first visit. He was very friendly and helpful, not pushy like some sales people. The slab I liked the best was marked sold.  In a follow up discussion with Bruno, my brother found out that the sister to that slab was available. Bruno gave it a rating of 11 on a scale of 1 to 10, and he was right.  Bruno held the slab for a few days until I could get there. Purchased it that day, and he held it for 5 months at no charge. Many companies my brother called on my behalf would not hold a slab longer than 30 days.
When my brother was visiting from out of town, they were kind enough to bring it out of storage so that he could see it.  That day, we met Art Rivera who spent considerable time with me us and provided invaluable advice about a new counter I was adding.  He also provided other design suggestions on the backsplash and paint color, which I followed with great results. That was an extra bonus I didn't expect. So, if Art gives you advice, you should definitely take it.
The templater, Glauber (hope this is the correct spelling), was extremely detail oriented and communicated well with my carpenter and his assistant. He made a suggestion for the end cap of the new counter and the handrail behind it that made it a true work of
art.  Gus Valente (co-owner), with assistance from Eduardo (stone cutter), did a great job of deciding what parts of the stone would go where in my kitchen and fireplace.  They have an amazing eye. I was so impressed by their finding parts of the slab in totally different areas that would best connect at the seams. The installers were terrific and that process went very smoothly. I have 2 seams that are barely noticeable.  Their work in the kitchen and my fireplace surround was impeccable.
Granite Works exceeded my expectations, and I'm very picky.  My counters are a work of art.
