"John Carroll and his son John did an excellent job with repairs done to my 2 1/2 family house.  John was easy to work with and any time I needed to contact him, he quickly responded.  Pricing was on point.
     After the harsh winter and high winds, a large section of vinyl siding on the back of my house blew off.  Replacement siding was perfectly matched and seamlessly blends.  The siding on the front porch was buckling due to improper installation and it now looks great.
     Inside of the house three locksets were installed to replace original door closures in my 1895 home.  Three new windows were installed and now function beautifully.
     Overall, I am very pleased with all of the work they have done and would recommend them to anyone needing home improvements.  Thanks John and John.

"Amazing. Todd was the fourth carpenter we interviewed, all from Angie's List, and we knew immediately he was the one. Unlike the others, you could tell that he was the kind of guy who does what he says; shows up; and does a quality job. He did all that and more and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Todd did more than the projects he was given - he referred the electrician and plumber who also did a wonderful job and having the three of them know one another helped tremendously - as they would communicate scheduling amongst themselves. "My mom and I couldn't be happier with the results.  We chose Superior Kitchens and Baths based upon all of the previous positive reviews on Angie's and now know first hand why they've received A's across the board.  Brandon and Jane are wonderful to work with, and their team of carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and painters are prompt, polite and professional. 
The half-bathroom in the basement which went unused for at least 13 years was a hot mess in desperate need of a gut - the subfloor was completely rotted as a result of flood waters or a crack in the toilet a few years back, the plumbing was not to code, and the toilet which was originally perched atop a giant block of concrete in the middle of the floor, was ripped out and replaced by a rag by my uncle because we didn't know we were suppose to keep water in it to prevent gases from coming through the U-pipe (oops). Superior Kitchens and Baths to the rescue - Brandon came and took a look at the mess and assured us he and his team could fix it and that's just what they did. They brought the plumbing, electric and venting to code, rebuilt the subfloor and doorway, and replaced rotted floorboards that extended into the hallway and in front of the chimney. As for an existing bump-out which covered the main piplines and extended from the top of the foundation out to the toilet as one giant chest-height shelf, they re-built it to a more user-friendly height and made it a 2-tier shelf.  They painted, installed a 12x12 tile floor using tiles we chose with Jane's help, new vinyl baseboard, a new comfort height toilet, new pedestal sink and faucet, 2 sconce lights on either side of a new mirror, and a new 6-panel door.  It was a difficult space, but Brandon and his team made it work and I love it and can't wait to finish decorating.
The full bathroom on the main floor was also a hot mess and outdated.  Although we had a vent, we hadn't turned it on for about 10 years because my dad, who passed in 2004, didn't connect it properly. The result was 10 years-worth of excessive surface mold everywhere that no amount of scrubbing would remove. It was beyond gross.  The plumbing was also not to code and a significant amount of stacking had to be done. Superior Kitchens and Bath arrived on the scene and gutted everything to the studs. They took out the 3-piece tub surround and replaced it with beautiful tile and a glass mosaic accent that we picked out with the help of Jane. They got rid of the laminate flooring and installed a new 12x12 tile floor on a diagonal which looks awesome. All the tile was sealed. They installed our new vanity with matching mirror and (7ft) monster of a linen cabinet after demolishing the existing built-in closet, and installed the granite vanity top and sink that my mom picked out with Jane's help.  They installed a new window with frame and sill and replaced the old too-long heat vent with a much nicer (and shorter) one. The electrician gave us outlets and a switch near the mirror which we never had before and brought it up to code. New wood baseboard, new 6-panel solid pine door, new toilet.  The only issue that popped up was a slow leak from the base of the new toilet tank in the main bathroom which was a manufacturing issue with the seal. The very next day after we told Brandon about it, he sent his plumber to look at it.  After we still noticed a drip from the same location, Brandon immediately replaced the tank and problem solved. No more drips.  
We had moved out of the house for the 4 weeks during the renovation and were living across town with a family member.  We would do a walk-through each night to see the day's progress and communicated with Brandon and Jane mainly through email, but Brandon also called on a regular basis to provide updates and confirm our preferences.  In fact whenever we had a question or wanted to change something, Brandon or Jane were always accomodating and responded immediately.  I can't stress enough how much we enjoyed working with this team.  The end result is beautiful bathrooms and happy happy customers.  We hope to have them back for a kitchen renovation in the near future.

"The work completed we excellent and the installers were professional and thorough.  The only thing preventing an all "A's" review was some scheduling/responsiveness mishaps - bought off a deal that was fully subscribed, so it took a little longer than I expected to get the new doors installed.  In the end though, work was done well, and I am very happy with the overall product.
