"Bob was very friendly and knowledgeable. We have had issues with our gas fireplace since it was installed by the builder. There was a very bad odor that kept us from using the fireplace, and it was very drafty too. Bob identified the problem right away. He inspected the fireplace, added some insulation to it and cleaned it.  
He gave us instructions about what to expect regarding the odor, a description of what different odors mean and told us to call him if the problem persists.

"Our Roof/Chimney was damaged in severe wind. We had the brick redone and then called Bricks out to assess the liner. I was able to schedule an appointment right away and upon inspection they had noticed our brick work needed to be repaired as the previous work was not correctly done. The liner also was bent and had a small tear. They were very informative, taking the time to show and explain all aspects of what needed to be done. "Beautiful job! The kitchen counters have nevaska granite, and perla venata quartzite for the kitchen bar. Went in one Saturday, founds the ones we liked, took samples home to test for staining, etching, scratches - both passed with flying colors. Went back the next Saturday to pick our slabs, they came and measured, went back for placement on the stone and they installed the following Friday. They were in and out in a little over 2 hours. Very nice bunch of guys who did a beautiful job, didn't break or ruin anything - it was a pleasure to have a job run smooth and everything look better than when they came. We love the new stone, it looks like we have a bigger kitchen and the stone is so beautiful - we couldn't be happier. I will say that trying to get them out was a bit of a pain. My father was helping to coordinate everything because of my work hours. It took them over a month to send us a quote. But once the quote was here, they were ready to come. They seem to be a bit disorganized behind the scenes: for example, I received a call from the woman who works at the office on the day the service was to be provided that they would be out. Later that day, my father received a call from one of the workers stating they couldn't do the work because I didn't have an outside water hookup. Ok, so I would reschedule. Later that week I got a call from the office asking if I liked the service they provided. I said they didn't provide a service because we got a call saying they couldn't. After a few phone calls back and forth, apparently, one of the workers asked my neighbor for a water hook up (love my neighbors) and they were able to finish the job, however no one ever called to say they were able to do it.

When I got home, I looked at the windows and sure enough, they did look different. I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't look but they did the work. They said they would send out the invoice for the rest of the amount, and it waited for about 6 weeks. Finally, I called saying I never got it and if they could email it or fax it. They wanted to drive over to my house to pick up the payment at that moment. That would have been fine, but I was the one that alerted them to the fact that I hadn't paid yet. I work late hours and didn't want someone coming over late. I mailed it out that day. no worries.

the reason I gave such a high rating is because even with all that little annoying stuff, their work was fantastic. I had a leaking front window for years and it is now months later, I still have the drywall off the wall to monitor the water, and still nothing. no water. amazing! I asked for an estimate on doing my front step in the late summer but never heard back. seems they need a bit of nudging or maybe they are just really busy because they are so good. I would love to give them more business but I am too busy to be bothering people about giving me new quotes right now. maybe in the summer.

"We hired the king to build a brand new bedroom and remodel 2 other bedrooms and a bathroom. The work included installing new hardwood floors, electrical, drywall, painting, installing a window, and building new closets. Harry was great at setting up the initial consult and quickly gave us a quote. They got everything done in about 2.5 weeks which is what was quoted. Harry was very responsive throughout the whole process and easy to get a hold of. His crew was respectful and carful with our home and ensured they cleaned up every day. Bill was great and was able to complete the final task list of items we had for him before final walk thru. Our rooms came out fantastic and look great. Harry was also able to paint our master bedroom which was an add on request. Overall we are very happy with everything and would recommend the king for any home remodeling or design build type work."
