We called a few contractors to get estimates, John called us back in a timely manner while the others either didn't call back or waited a week or longer. We looked at that as to say US Home Improvement is serious about their business and about our time. John and his son both came to speak with us and give an estimate. John knows his stuff and his knowledge and confidence put us at ease. When they started work, they started when they said they would and finished in a week. They worked Saturday and Sunday! We added a few extras to our plans, an extra outdoor light, new front door with more "presence" and we asked them to "do something with the ugly deck pillars" We didn't know what could be done but, they did. Our front door and deck look great. John was always available to take calls and answer questions. Again we are thrilled with the workmanship and any other aspect you could think of. "Amazing! This is the second time I've used Daddy & Junior Paint and I am once again happy. The first project he did for me was a small job. Some ceiling repair and painting and I was very happy with the work he did so reached out to him for a much bigger project. Roldolfo removed a ceiling that had been ruined by a leaky roof and took the paneling off of the walls in a large space (approximately 700 SF). He then resheetrocked everything, mudded, painted and did the trim and crown molding. It came out beautiful. The space looks so much better than it did before. Much cleaner and the space actually looks bigger! Very happy and will gladly hire again for future projects."

"We were so happy with the kitchen and master bathroom remodel that Todd did for us that we hired him again to remodel our downstairs bathroom. Todd gutted the old bathroom down to the studs and rebuilt the floor in order to remove water damaged boards from a prior leak as well as accommodate the new curb less shower pan. Todd was very thoughtful and had some good design & layout suggestions and helped us work thru other challenges like how to route/hide things we didn’t think of such as vent pipes. Todd found and installed new window trim and doors that also closely matched the rest of the house to help maintain consistency throughout. He installed new tile on the floor, shower walls, and subway tile halfway up all the remaining walls. All of the lines were perfect again and he did a fantastic job. We have received many compliments on the bathroom and are thrilled with how it turned out. Todd is a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend him and his work."

"We hired Joseph to install a new under-cabinet microwave that did not match the footprint of the old one, requiring some tile work. He did a great job and you can't tell that some serious rejiggering was required. He also did a great job replacing several old, single pane, oddly sized windows. Clearly the previous owners couldn't have been bothered to find non-factory size windows, but he sourced great replacements, did a beautiful job installing them promptly, dealt with supply chain issues with grace, and even included finishing touches we hadn't thought of, like installing a curtain rod and curtain for a shower window. The windows and microwave have been there a couple years now and are doing great!"

"Josh made an emergency call last week when our opener had been pulled out of the ceiling by the door. He said he could make the repair, but pointed out as he had in the past that the door was way too heavy, too much work for the opener, and the reason it pulled the opener out from the ceiling. He warned us that it would be a recurring problem. He explained the benefits of a new door in case we chose to go that route. He said he would apply our emergency repair charge to the replacement job if we wanted the new door instead. We decided that it made good sense to go ahead. He did the work today, as promised, did a great job, cleaned up everything, and was a pleasure to deal with, would call him again! I was surprised to notice the notes on his site here placed there by Angie's List, and found out that Josh's business had burned to the ground around the time Angie's made those notes. He spoke with a rep of Angie's and explained that they could not pay the fees Angie was requiring, and the result was the notes you will see when you see this page. I hope Angie's will see fit to put Shamrock back on their Search list, since this is a good company who performs quality work!
