"This company is outstanding from my initial phone call with Brian (the owner) to Nick (Sales Rep) coming out to get up in my attic and recommend solutions for my problem (second floor was just too hot no matter what I did with my HVAC etc.). Once I decided to use them and an install date was set, Joe called me and explained how it would all go during install (said exactly what Nick had told me during sales call). Johnny and Joe arrived on time and were tremendous in how they interacted with me and showed me pictures of what I had (even pointed out some electrical issues that needed to be addressed before they were comfortable blowing insulation in after prepping the attic). The electrical work was fixed that day and they had to come back the next (work) day to blow in insulation. I went from 7 inches to 22-24" and it is amazing how different my house feels and how how happy the rest of my family is now. If you want to use a first class company who will do the work (and clean up) like they were doing it on their own house then call these guys and don't waste your time and money messing around with inferior competition or solutions."

When he came out, he told me right up front that they were pretty backed up due
to the bad winter. I was fine with that and set a date that was good for both
of us to have the work done. They called the day before to remind me of the
appointment and showed up on time and did the work in one day. They did a great
job, cleaned up after themselves and you couldn?t even tell that they had
popped off the siding to drill the holes for the insulation.

"We had a leak as it was raining very hard and we had taken down the dinning room ceiling and there was a small leak.  They did some patching.  We used them 2 years prior to do a patch and flashing on the roof.  I was satisfied with the outcome. They came out to do the patch and we had them give us an estimate for a new roof. We have some problems on our second floor because we don’t have too much of air flow.  They didn’t really come into the house to see what the problem was and you really can’t tell in the winter but in the summer it is very hot.  It took us 2 weeks to get an estimate from them. I got another estimate and they took into account the air flow. I would rate them high for the patch stuff but I don’t know if they really understood my problem with the summer heat on the 2nd floor.  We haven’t done anything about re-roofing yet but I don’t know if we would with them because they didn’t take into account the problem we have with heat in the summer.  Their responsiveness was very good and they came out the very next day to do the patching. I wouldn’t use them for a new roof but I would use them for patching. "

"We've got American Home Shield. So that kinda varies but united air temp has done some work for us. Probably a couple years ago, I think so. I think its two years ago. They did work on our air conditioning. Well you know with American Home Shield you only pay $75.00. You sign up for a year , its like something you subscribe to.  You call and contact American Home Shield and they have somebody contact you whose in line with their services and agrees to work with them. You pay $75.00 and if its not done correctly for each visit but if they come back twice you don't pay again. Its like 400 and something a year. Its fabulous, its fabulous. If you need plumbing , H VAC, lighting, its amazing. Its worth every dime. And if they can't fix it they replace it at no charge unless you want to upgrade There are some different companies but even when we refinanced our house they had us, no we bought another house in Winchester for our son. And they made us have it in with our policy and they use American Home shield. its fabulous and you don't have to do the searching or anything, If you aren't happy you just tell American Home shield. One time United Air Temp tried to talk us into , they did some plumbing work too, and they were going try to talk us into replacing it with a cheap model. That isn't American Home Shield policy its with the same thing or you can pay to upgrade. Pay the balance of an upgrade. We use it all the time. When my son has issues with his house I tell him just call American Home Shield. They guarantee they will be out within 72 hrs but its usually within 24 hours. We contacted them last week about my son's air conditioning. They came out right away, they had to order something. They had to come back out and they did last Wednesday and they fixed it."

"Asked this company to estimate a kitchen remodeling project. They were late showing up but we agreed to have their designer make some drawings for a fee ($150). Two weeks later (9/27/10) the designer completes the measurements but we don't receive them until November! Same drawings others provide for free. Estimate for work gave no indication of qualities or grades of materials to be used...too vague to be useful for comparative purposes."
