"When our heat wouldn't kick in automatically without turning the furnace off and on manually, we called another service that we used before, but they couldn't come for two days. We called "A Better Way" for the first time because of the Angie's List recommendations. Matt came out the same day and cleaned a flame sensor. Our furnace was also due for a yearly tune up so we set up an appointment for two weeks later. At the tune up, Matt found concrete dust in our furnace from a basement repair beside the normal tune up procedures. Matt was unique in that he explained all of his procedures to us. He also showed us the readings for our furnace which let us know it is working well and still has years of longevity. We found "A Better Way" to have reasonable prices for the work completed and we highly recommend them.."

"They replaced both my furnace and air conditioner (coil and outside unit), removed and disposed of my old units, installed a whole house humidifier, and cleaned my ductwork. They were very professional and personable, and completed everything but the ductwork cleaning in one day. I wasn't able to be home for the entire project, but they raised and leveled the new air conditioning unit as I requested, and explained the functioning of the wi-fi thermostat before I left, and all the installation areas were clean when I came home. They completed the ductwork cleaning on a different date, and this service was also done very well. My only concerns or "complaints" would be that they used clean rounded stone beneath the air conditioning unit and I'm not convinced that it won't shift or settle over time; and they removed a vent that supplied heat to the basement so now the basement is very cold."

"It turned out quite well. We have never had it done so it is difficult for me to know. There was no issue at all. They guy offered to do extra stuff because we didn't have as many ducts as he thought. That's always a nice offer to have. They were there on time and they got done in the specified time.
  We just met with the one worker and he was fine. It took about 3 hours. That was it, I think it might of been shorter. The other thing that was nice about it was, they used an in home unit, so we didn't have to have doors and windows opened. Some duct cleaning, they do it from a truck or something outside the house. With this he got into the basement and took into the basement and operated it from there, so we didn't have to worry about heat escaping the house. He left the area perfectly clean. he cleaned it up. He cleaned the ducts out noticeably. He did what he was supposed to do. He did it well. We was able to go down and see all the junk he got out of the duct, because we have never had them cleaned before. It looked to me that he got a lot of stuff out of them and I had been having allergy problems before and it eased off quite a bit. There was a noticeable impact, which was one of the things that I wanted to see if there was much of a difference or not. Like I said, he got here on time, he did the work, he got out, and he left the place looking as good as it could of, I mean it is a basement after words."

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"They came out and looked over the A/C unit. I told him it makes a very loud banging when it starts up and that the company who installed it told us that was normal and it was working fine. Once he was done cleaning the unit, he went to restart it and it tripped the breaker. So he took it apart and found that when it was installed, someone had pinched a wire, cutting the insulation and causing it to short out on the frame of the A/C unit. He fixed that, reassembled the unit and restarted it. It's still a loud start, but not nearly as loud as it was. He informed me that our A/C is a builder grade model and unfortunately it's not the best on the market so it's going to be louder than we would like. Once he was done working on the A/C, he came in and took a look at our furnace to make sure it wasn't hooked up wrong also. Definitely will be calling on Faithful again."
