"Owner called immediately after posting we needed AC repair. He came that day, was very professional and two days later new system was installed. Another company quoted $16,000 and Leading Air and Heat quoted $8375 for same job and same unit as Duran Duran."

"These gentlemen were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I appreciated their fast service and honesty. I will definitely call them for all my HVAC needs and highly recommend them!"

"So far so good. AC unit installed and working great. Duct replacement in early Nov. when it is cooler outside. Clean up was exceptional."

"I don't usually give all 5 star reviews, but these people deserved it. I have had ducting issues with this central air unit for years. Barely any air comes out of the duct in the master bedroom, which is always warmer than the rest of the house. Other A/C companies have quoted me upwards of $1,500 to install an completely new ducting system. That seemed outrageous to me considering I only had trouble with one duct, that was literally 3 feet from the air handler. When the unit finally stopped cooling, I called Speedy Air. Mike came out the next day. The system was low on freon, as I expected. The fan motor, run capacitors, and contactor were faulty. No surprise considering the system was 8 years old and I have heard the contactor buzzing. Mike checked the system and found the leak in the evaporator that the previous technician from another company couldn't find a couple of years ago. He also looked up the warranty information on the unit and all the parts were covered. What I thought might be $1,000 or more came to less than $500. Best of all was what he found with my ducting. The problem was that the original company installed the air handler too close to the rafters on one end. That meant they had to use an abnormally small plenum, which caused the airflow problems. They were also the ones trying to get me to pay $1,500 to fix the problem they caused. Mike suggested to wait until the air handler eventually needed replacing, and change the ducting then. In the mean time he turned up the speed setting on the fan motor itself. For the first time in years we get adequate flow for the master bedroom! What else can I say. Mike ran his buns off, we had cold air within 2 hours, he solved my duct problem at no cost, all for under $500."

"5+ STAR SERVICE!!! Our A/C went out at 10pm and I made one phone call to Service Star they diagnosed the issue over the phone and told me what I needed to do in order to have our unit run efficiently overnight. Our coil was leaking and unit was frozen. Since our unit was 10 years old we opted to replace the entire unit including exterior and interior with new WiFi digital thermostat. They walked us through the most energy efficient option for our home. They came out early today and installed the new unit! Talk about SERVICE! WOW! The unit was installed in under 4 hours and my house began cooling instantly. WHAT a difference this unit makes and we are super impressed with how quite it is. We are THRILLED! THANK YOU SERVICE STAR!"

"David installed my ac about 5 years ago. He is a pleasure to deal with. He did a great job with the install and recently came for a service as I was having an issue with my thermostat. Even though he was extremely busy he took the time to come fix my issue. I wouldn't use anyone else."

"It has been a horrible week here in Florida but I found a gem hidden in the massive number of AC + service companies. I was in a bind and without any previous service with Air Docs I was treated with respect and urgency. From the original service tech, Brandon, who diagnosed the problem and thoroughly spelled out my options on my 14 year old system to Joey & Damon who installed a new system I felt informed and confident in what I was being sold. Though it wasnâ t what I wanted to happen, Iâ m glad I did a complete replacement. My home even spells better with the duct work being sanitized and they replaced the floor base and cleaned all areas. Iâ m thrilled with this company and know my future with them is bright."
