Other than telling me the system was old they didn't say the system needed anything, but did try to get me to make an appointment with their sales guy. My guess is that the service guy gets a commission if customers by a new unit. I think that would explain why they don't waste time fixing old systems for a few hundred dollars and more time trying to sell you a new system for several thousands."

"I wasn't fully happy with this latest service, but the check-ups they did prior to that, I was very happy with.  We probably won't use them in the future because we at this moment are just changing out our air conditioning and furnace.  We have a different contractor that's going to do that work, so for annual maintenance we will probably stay with the new vendor."
