"Matt is very meticulous and tested all parts of the system thoroughly. It was the first time I had a company test an A/C system where I felt the money was well-spent and that it would protect me for the cooling season. He spent well over an hour here going over everything. Matt's philosophy is that's it's often cheaper to repair and maintain equipment than to replace it. I agree with this approach. Matt noticed a refrigerant leak and found a couple of test valves that might have been the cause which he replaced. Also, replaced a run capacitor which was getting weak, and added 2 lbs of R-22. At the end I decided to sign up for a yearly service where he will come back in the fall to check the heating system. He provides free filters for the year with this service. He's professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and also a very nice guy! You won't go wrong with Matt."

"Choice was unable to find a contractor, but provided me the option of reimbursement by finding my own contractor. The process was pretty smooth, where I submit an estimate/diagnosis and they come back to me with any questions and then approved the repair with me paying the contractor and my reimbursement check mailed to me. Most people come in your home for 10 mins and then try to sell you a new system, not Rick. He can set you up with a new one, but he can also pull out all his knowledge and work on your older unit. "I contacted Alltech Solutions, Inc., for a swamp cooler repair. The water was not reaching the cooler, and it was very, very hot in my home, and my backup, room-sized AC units didn't even phase the 100+ temps outside. They kindly scheduled me on the Friday just prior to the Memorial Day Weekend, since I called them on Thursday. I wasn't expecting that they could fit me in for the next day, but they did. The technicians I met were extremely polite and cordial, and very quick and competent in resolving what the issues were -- no fuss, no fanfare. The price was very good as well. "He came and tested the circuits and found out that not only did I have a defective circuit breaker for my outside lights, he also discovered a bad receptacle that had blown out a circuit breaker that I wasn't even aware of. He installed the new breakers and receptacle and installed a new fixture for the outside lights that had probably caused the problem with the circuit breaker to begin with. Everything worked when he was done and he was very prompt and charged a reasonable price for the services he performed. I would definitely use him again."
