"Two guys showed up on time and got to work immediately inspecting and vacuuming and snaking the fireplace and chimney flue. They operated form the roof and inspected the entire chimney from top to bottom. Both men answered my lay questions kindly and with plenty of detail about minor and major issues they found and the forecasted schedule of when I should address them. They did NOT do the classic inspect-and-force-you-into-buying-a-new-liner routine and that was much appreciated.  They took their time and did not rush the service or question/answers. that I would only see bare branches for year or so when I cut to half
size. I appreciated the warning. The work was done the following week
shortly after I confirmed I wanted to hire them.John came to give
directions to the 3 workers before they started. I stayed in yard during
most of the work so I could change my mind about extent of downsizing
trees during the progression.  
The men clearly were used to trimming hollys which was a relief since I
have not been able to find any tree companies in the past 15 years who
even wanted to do it. One man climbed into the holly while another
worked from the ground with the long clippers.  Everything went smoothly
and all degree was removed.
