"The company rapidly responded to the service request and booked an appointment with me in a timely fashion. Technician, John, arrived on time and did call 20-30 minutes prior to arrival. He was polite, profession and respected the property. Quickly diagnosed the issue and provided me with several options after showing me and explaining the issue with the fireplace. Fortunately the parts were in his truck and he was able to quickly effect a repair. Everything was cleaned up and he even cleaned the fireplace glass insert (this is a natural gas fireplace). "We had contacted Chimney.com and asked if they could check out our gas fireplace and tell us if it needs to be replaced or fixed. Ours was a 2002 possible model, so it definitely need to be replaced. They let us know what the estimate would be for a total replacement with a Majestic Fireplace and all the bells and whistles that come with it! We said yes and set a date. Then they notified us that it came in early and if we would like them to come out earlier than scheduled and we said YES!! They showed up early in the morning -a little after 8 AM which is fabulous! They worked the whole day taking the old stuff out putting the new stuff in! The crew cleaned up as they worked. "Wow! Amazing service. I must've called 8 different places in a panic trying to get the brick mounts which hold the mantel removed from my old fireplace so the surface could be prepped for a new TV. Seemed like an easy task (I thought), but it was a little more meticulous than I thought. I called this team and they arrived same day! Incredible customer service and expertise. Not only did they return the day after providing an estimate and remove the brick mounts, they actually re-fabricated the brick to make the holes disappear! This team knows their stuff!! "I had a few sections of a brick wall that was shared between townhouses (both in the front and the back) that were worn to the point that my HOA had written it up as a finding in my home sales disclosure documents. I called up Richard and told him about the need to get all of the work as soon as possible. He was able to come out the next day, provided me a quote that night and was able to start work the following Monday. The previous owner had a similar process done on the other wall prior to me moving in, the brick that was put into that wall was not even close to a matching color and it had annoyed me for years. Richard, with just a look was able to match the brick and mortar so perfectly that I honestly cannot tell that there were repairs made to the wall (well obviously there are no more broken bricks and holes). Richard did a great job and I highly recommend him and will use him again for any future brick work. <br />"

Leon and his team installed brick that was visually similar to the brick of our 1956 house, recycled the originally row lock sill and moved it up to below the current window and ensured the framing behind was adequate, fully insulated and sealed. I cannot recommend them more, I wish all of my experiences working with professionals went this smoothly. We will definitely work with them again next year for an outdoor patio area and path."

"John, the owner of Fairfax Chimney, came out to our house on 10/8/2012. He arrived during the 2 hour window he gave me over the phone. We had recently purchased our house and had no idea about the shape of the Chimneys/fireplaces. John did an excellent job sweeping them - not a speck of dust got inside our house. He inspected the inside and outside and said everything looked great. He gave us some safety tips and suggestions on where to get wood and the type of wood to burn.
