It's a big chimney and they replaced around 300 bricks, repaired cement and mortar, and painted the crowns and brought them up to code to prevent this kind of water damage again. Joe was even able to match the bricks exactly. He found them in St. Cloud and drove to get them for me. So, it's a perfect match. Highly recommended. These guys were the best and quickest about getting a quote too, which was no easy task in the summer. Attached image is partially done. "The top of the chimney in our 1950's house was spalling badly. The brick was crumbling because there was no drip edge and water went right down the brick. The roof to brick interface started leaking into the house. We got lucky, because Joe and his crew were working in the area. He came out the same day to assess the project and the crew was at work the next day! We were stunned that they got started so quickly. One of our main concerns was making sure the repaired brick matched the existing. When they tore down the chimney, they kept as many of the good bricks as possible.
