"Jim provided some re-pointing on my parents red brick house. He was extremely patient, worked within their schedule, cleaned up after himself, and did an amazing job from start to finish. Our next door neighbors liked his work so much while he was doing our house, that they hired him to help re-point their house as well. Most everything he repaired blended seamlessly to original house. Jim was laid back and no hassle to work with and I would highly recommend his company to anyone."

"Highly recommended, timely and very professional. Carl was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He was able to answer all of our questions and walk us through different options, while being mindful of our budget. Just to highlight what all he did to repair our chimney. A safe working platform was erected. The old cap was removed and the brick was demoed to the flashing. All the brick was cleaned and relayed in tinted mortar to match existing masonry. A new crown was installed with custom stainless steal cage. The chimney was washed cleaned and sealed all debris were cleaned up and scaffolding was removed. We were so happy with the results. "I had utilized the services of "1st Choice " last year to perform lentil replacement(s) and the resetting of window sill bricks. I was so impressed with their work I naturally contracted with them again to repoint the entire front of my house. The communication for this project between Dennis and myself was excellent. Because my mom was very sick and I was out of town I entrusted Dennis and his crew to perform the job without my presence. He kept me abreast of the job and like before I was elated with the quality of his team's work!! The completed project looks awesome almost as if I have a new house. My house is high up and has a projected vestibule as well as dormers which makes repointing work very challenging. Dennis and his crew were amazing. They washed the sutty brick, routed away the old mortar (every horizontal and vertical) and acid washed. It really has the appeal of a new house maintained with charm. "Zach is a hardworking and honest contractor. He replaced some leaking skylights, and repaired a section of roof that was leaking around another. He and his crew put in more than a full days work staying late to finish the job. His price was very fair and I would definitely hire him again. Of note, he also knows his limitations and did not attempt to work on a larger flat roof and gave me some recommendations for someone to call for that. "I can't praise the workers highly enough. Everything was professionally done. The entire area was cleaned at the end of each day. They made every effort to minimize disruption to my use of the spaces. One day there was a wind storm and a piece of fascia on my neighbor's house came loose and was flapping against the house. The neighbors were out of town. Bob Marburger, the manager on the project was able to pull the fascia down. He did it without any consideration of how he might get paid for his time. In fact, when my neighbor asked him how much he was charging for the fix; Bob told him to forget it. That is an excellent example of the type of person Rick Horn hires. On more than one occasion, they took my garbage to the curb or did other things that helped me out but were unrelated to their project. I have already hired them for another project. Their prices are fair--not the lowest or the highest; but the quality you will get for that fair price is excellent. Rick Horn Construction gets my highest recommendation with no reservation."

"We contacted Home Crafters and Chris came out to give us an estimate on November 24th, which was the week of Thanksgiving.  He promised us a contract and breakdown of costs by the following Monday by email.  After reviewing and signing we agreed to have Home Crafters do the work and he said it would be at least two weeks for them to start the work as long as it was not raining.  Much to our surprise, two roofers were sent to our home on that Thursday and they completed the work by Friday afternoon.  Everything went extremely well and we would definitely contact them in the future if needed.  (One thing to note is that we have seen the repairs via pictures but are unsure of whether or not it will leak since we haven't had rain.)
