"I had part of a brick wall collapse. The bricks I had were no longer in production which meant that it was going to be difficult to match. David was able to make it look like the damage never happened. The result is much better than I had expected (see the picture to see if you can tell where the repair is). If you didn't know that the wall was repaired, you wouldn't know. I was very impressed with David's skill and experience. He came up a good plan to recover as much of the existing brick work as he could, and he found ways to hide the fact that newer bricks had been added. Fixing an existing wall in which replacement bricks are unavailable is as much of an art as it is a science and he has it down. He was very professional and conscientious, and he left my patio as clean as he found it. I'm extremely happy with the result."

"We wanted to redo the fireplace area above and around our fireplace with stone instead of just regular wall space. He came out to take a look and provided a quote and gave his opinion on a few types/colors of stone and different ways to lay it (we chose dry-stack due to the size of the room). <br /> We did have the project pushed back a few times (Ernie is a very busy guy and the rain kept delaying projects in front of ours), we finally were able to get Ernie and his guys out to complete the task. I will note that he was always upfront with the delays which was appreciated. We have very tall ceilings (20 ft) so it was about 220 sq ft of stonework that had to be placed. They showed up each morning on time, kept the area as clean as possible and did an outstanding job. We appreciated his recommendations (we don't know much about masonry!) and are very pleased with the final result. It has totally transformed the room and we couldn't be happier. Quote was spot-on as well - no hidden costs so that is always appreciated. <br />"

"Ken worked with me on scheduling so that he could finish on a Saturday while I was there to let him in the house. He recommended stucco restoration vs. a complete teardown of the chimney which would have been much more costly, and he did a nice job installing a fireplace insert with liner and termination cap. He accepted the shipment of my very heavy insert and brought it with him on a Saturday.  Ken and his sons also traveled about 50 miles to get to my house. Overall a very good experience and very satisfied with the work. <br />"

"He was able to use some bricks we already had and replaced just that which needed replacing. He then told us how to clean the entire porch and how to seal the bricks. "Mike was very efficient, and explained every step of the process in detail. Mike and his crew did a thorough chimney inspection and cleaning of the chimney (found that a sweep was not necessary). A detailed list of findings and recommendations was documented, and an estimate presented. I was hesitant to use my fireplace until having it inspected, but now am looking forward to my first use of the season. My dryer is working much more efficiently now, and I can have peace of mind that it is not a fire hazard. "OUR BRICK GARAGE WALLS HAD HOLES WHICH WE BELIEVED WOULD NEED MASONRY REPAIR. BOB LOOKED AT THE JOB & DETERMINED THAT WE REALLY NEEDED A CARPENTER - & SUGGESTED AN EXCELLENT COMPANY (FROM ANGIE'S LIST) TO DO THE WORK. HE COULD HAVE QUOTED US THE JOB WE ASKED FOR A LOT MORE MONEY, BUT INSTEAD HE ACTED IN OUR BEST INTERESTS BY SUGGESTING THE WORK WE REALLY NEEDED TO HAVE DONE - WITH SOMEONE ELSE. "We did purchase a new fireplace screen. Technician came out and made a template of the opening. The actual screen fit perfectly."

"Roland showed up on time Tuesday and started by making sure the door I bought was not damaged.  He also measured the new door and then the rough opening to make sure I didn't make any mistakes on ordering the door. I didn't think there would be any but I liked that he double checked before removing old door. The installation went well and required a trim board to be replace due to the new doors brick molding being a little narrower then the old door.  No problem with the measurements because the rough opening was fine just a difference in the widths of the new brick molding vs the old brick molding (house build in 1984).    Roland replaced the trim at no extra cost and also  added extra  insalation around the door, and caulked everything. When finishd the door looked great and you would never know it wasn't the original.  Also love the look with the new full view storm door.   <br /> <br /> After Roland was finished I asked if he would look at my screen door on my back porch which was a mess.  He offered to pick up a new door, deliever to me to paint it and he came back on Friday and installed it with no problems.  His help in getting this door was great because I didnt have to miss any work in getting it done. <br /> <br /> I was very pleased with how everything went and would not hesitate to use him again."
