Michael and I had three separate contracts for an extensive amount of brick repair to my veterinary hospital as well as a complete overhaul of a chimney and fireplace at my residence. The veterinary clinic needed a door blocked up and all windows to be parged to match the existing stucco. The door was blocked up the right way by toothing in matching period bricks so it basically looks like in never existed. The fireplace at my residence was a complete overhaul. My wife and I wanted a pass through fireplace and Michael and Artie had to cut through 3/4 inch steel to make our dream a reality. The labor was clearly above and beyond the scope of the work originally quoted but they made sure the job got done. Michael and Artie were professional and kept constant communication through the duration of the project. They both were on site nearly seven days a week over the course of three weeks. Michael offers a 10 year warranty on all of his work. Even after the jobs were paid in full, Michael and Artie came back for minor touch ups. They cleaned up thoroughly and left the job site as they found it. I have managed three home gut renovations in the past eight years and have used my fair share of skilled workers. Michael is a gem."

"I bought a really nice regency gas fireplace from South Shore Fireplace and couldn't have been happier with the way they treated me and completed the installation. They were the most attentive and considerate companies I approached which is why I went with them. We couldn't get the time of day from other fireplace stores. These guys were right on the ball from the start. Spent a lot of time going over the different stoves and options that go with them all. The installation was scheduled and went very well. Installers were very thorough and clean. This was a complete installation, needed the chimney as well as the stove. Everything was done perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Recently, the stove I picked had a recall and I was informed and updated by Scott as soon as he had news. This actually went on for a couple of months but Scott would contact me every couple of weeks and let me know what was going on. When the replacement part came in, they scheduled the work IMMEDIATELY and I met Jon, one of the senior techs and installers. Jon was on time, meticulous and thorough. Very clean and organized as you would expect a master craftsman to be. The repair went very well and made my stove run better than ever before. When your happy with a job someone does for you, you hardly ever write a review but something turns sour, people can't write one quick enough. When I need something done, I go online and read all the awful reviews of probably great companies so I do not hire them. It is very hard to find craftsman who really care about what they do and also so nice to deal with. South Shore Fireplace will be my go to guys for the rest of my life.
