After finishing the sink, I asked him to take a look at my water heater because I thought I was smelling gas. He checked it and educated me on how strong winds can blow the exhaust back into the unit and that was what I was smelling. He checked all the other plumbing in the basement and said everything else was good. Great customer experience. Autry Plumbing will be my first call from now on."

"The work was completed at the quoted cost and on time. I was shown photos of the condition of the sewers lines that were rotted and broken and also pictures of the new lines that were installed. The lines were tested to make sure the installation would be free of leaks. The office also kept me informed with information that was useful. Crew Plumbing and Drain appears to be a family run business which is a positive since each member is working for each other and not just the customer."

"Overall these folks went out of their way to fit us in. It is a family business and they had two family emergencies in the month of service. They did everything they could to get us on their schedule considering we wanted off a shared well in our community which was causing us issues.  <br /> Pros: Estimated cost was $6000. This was actually a fair price considering the area where they were drilling. They hit water sooner than they expected so the overall price came to $4800. Honestly they could have taken advantage of the situation and tried to charge more, but they are an honest bunch of folks. Considering how backlogged they were at the time they did everything they could to make our install as full service as possible, per our request. <br /> Job was completed quickly and with as minimal impact to the yard as possible. They did some serious work to run piping under our sidewalk without causing any damage which would have caused unseemly patch work. <br /> Cons: Only issue I had was that I asked for the water cut off valve before our filter be left in place where the prior water supply came in. This was neglected which causes some issues when changing the filter since those whole house plastic water fixtures never fully cut off during filter change. Considering the situation this was a small detail in the grand scheme. <br />"

"Tim and Zack arrived on time and immediately took out the old and replaced it with a new hot water heater.  They were professional and personable. They made a good team. <br /> They checked for water pressure and leaks and, of course, there were none. <br />  When finished, they cleaned the area, took away the old hw heater. <br /> Tim explained the controls and  the warranty. <br /> <br />"

"Mostly went very well. The gentleman who came out to do the initial estimate and evaluation was extremely pleasant and professional and gave me lots of helpful advice. Took a little while to hear back via email, when I had some follow up questions. Very nice folks who take calls in the office. I did not get a call or email from the office, however, letting me know the day the crew was coming out. Thank goodness I happened to be at home so I could run out an extension cord for their power tools. Some confusion in the office - I accepted the full, original bid to replace both gutters and guards but the crew came not knowing they were doing guards, as well. Thankfully, they had enough stock in the truck and were able to do it. The installation crew was pleasant and professional. They did forget to remove two old lengths of gutter still attached to the siding and also forgot to put up the spill over guards. I had to call back and ask them to please come out one more time to do that, before I was comfortable paying the invoice. The bid was significantly higher than the competition but .... the one year guarantee on labor/installation and the 5 year guarantee on materials was important to me. Plus, the nice, detailed, straightforward conversation I had initially with Mr. Childs, who directs the Asheville branch."

"Jeff was wonderful to work with. For our well water issues he recommended a water purification system and a water softener. He had the water tested first to make sure what he recommended would work and the overall price came in lower than expected. The install team had a very cramped area to work in and made adjsutments as necessary. They did a beautiful and professional job. I would definately call them again for any water/well isssues."

I was able to solve my water problems with only one filter. Why did I wait years to have this done? Now I can be confident that our water is safe. Highly recommended."
