"Louis was professional and yet kind. He took the time to ask if I had any questions and then waited for a response. When I answered that I did not have any, he continued providing me usual and imperative information about how I should be handling the salt. It had never been explained to us in that manner!! It was a learning experience and after two years of having this system. He was wonderful. Later on when I could not find how to get to the point of writing a review; Jamie called me and did all the steps with me online so I could get to this screen. Thank you both for being fantastic employees! It has been a pleasure. Anna F"

"Company X came for routine maintenance. I mentioned it was losing water faster than before. The tech notices discoloration on a burner tube and thinks there's a small crack and the whole burner needs replacing. Company X gives me a quote and I sit on it for a few months. Company Y comes to also give a quote for replacing the boiler. By now, the rate of water loss is faster, and I can see steam escaping from around the sight tube. I mention this. I get a quote to replace the boiler, but nothing is done to the boiler. Now Malone Plumbing comes to give me a third quote for replacing the boiler. I mention the steam escaping. He removes the sight tube, cleans it, puts it back with new gaskets. He also opens up the case to see if there's any evidence of a steam leak anywhere else. No. A month later I can say that the sight tube was the entire problem. No more rapid water loss. So a little investigating and action cost less than $200 and postponed a $9000 replacement job. That's the kind of problem-solving you want, right?"

"Communication was excellent. The price was great and the equipment installed is excellent. Recovery time on the commercial version is excellent!! Mike explained the whole process to me and what the options were and even rushed over to install the water heater so I could still make it to my doctors appointment. I would definitely recommend and use his services again! One of those times that using these referral services actually are what they claim to be."

"lou is the consummate pro, knows his business inside and out, thorough and cleans up like no other. <br /> there is considerable work necessary to install an on demand unit, especially in an older home <br /> such as ours.  he explained everything that was to be done, from beginning to end.  <br /> also, you will not find another gent as nice and considerate as Lou.  <br /> I had contacted about 4 to 5 contractors previously and only Lou actually came! <br /> the only issue we had was that our gas supply from national grid was old and not up to snuff, <br /> but again lou was able to work with ng and the net result is that the unit is up and running perfectly. <br /> my wife and i heartily endorse, and recommend highly lou, you will not be disappointed !! <br /> <br />"

"The contractor removed one tank containing filtering media the added a larger one with a media that was sufficient for the iron content that had to be removed.  He further adjusted the system and corrected the water flow and backwash cycle.   Other tanks were cleaned along with the flow valve for proper functioning. The contractor was in and out in four hours using two workers that were both polite and competent. Everything was cleaned up and was left in better shape than when they arrived. From the time they put the new system on line our water has been perfect.  We are so happy after several contractors worked on our system for 10 years and none of them has gotten it right. <br /> WE RECOMMEND THIS CONTRACTOR TO ANYONE WITH BAD DRINKING WATER!"

"The test kit came promptly. We prepared it, sent it back, and received the report the next week. The report itself was quite limited, and not nearly as in depth as the annual report filed by our municipal water company. We expected more detail and were disappointed."

"We bought a house with a number of plumbing issues, the most serious of which was a shower that had been improperly installed such that there was effectively no trap beneath it, allowing sewage gases to come up through the drain. Fixing it required cutting a hole in the ceiling below the bathroom and re-doing a lot of the pipes. It was a two-day job and it seemed like quite a struggle. Ultimately the problem was solved. I can't really say whether the price was reasonable. The hourly rates weren't outrageous -- the question is whether anyone else could have done the job more efficiently. We also had them install a garbage disposal and faucet in the kitchen sink. Again, both of those jobs seemed to give them a bit of trouble, but that could be because of the original questionable workmanship in the house construction. There was room for improvement in how the services. For example, instead of saying "it should be all right for you to use the bathroom sink overnight as long as you don't use the toilet," they should have said "we strongly advise you not to use anything in that bathroom overnight." (We had a little flood as a result.) Also, they promised us a detailed bill after the job was complete, which we still haven't received 10 days later. And the water heater inspection they gave us seemed a bit cursory and rushed. I plan to get a second opinion on that. <br /> <br /> One of the guys on the job was clearly learning on the job, under the supervision of the more experienced plumber. I have no problem with that, as long as I wasn't getting billed for his education. <br /> <br /> On the plus side, both guys were friendly, respectful of our house and belongings, and willing to explain to us exactly what was going on in language we could understand. I'm sure they'd be very good at more routine jobs."
