"I scheduled a month in advance to ensure a specific date when both my husband and I could be home, and made certain they could come on that date. Somehow, they scheduled it for a different days, and had I not called to confirm the appointment, they would not have contacted me, or shown up on the correct day. However, once I called, they rearranged their schedule to do the installation on the original agreed upon date."

"I noticed that water had backed up into both sides of the double utility sink in the laundry room. After trying to clear the blockage, opening up the trap and then trying to break through again with a plunger and a hand rodder, I was prepared to admit failure and decided to call Bollweg. The woman I spoke with was very pleasant and said that someone would be at my house within an hour. He arrived shortly after, as promised, and started working on the drain. He brought in some heavier duty equipment and finally got it cleared. He cleaned up everything, packed up and all was back to normal. The serviceman was friendly and professional."

"Plumbers were on time and very professional. Hot water heater was installed and associated gas and water pipes. Additionally two shutoff water valves were installed. Very fast installation and they explain what they were doing and how the new heater worked which was very different than the one that was installed."

"Searched and found source of leak, originally thought and indicated by tenants as bathroom shower. Turned out to be the kitchen sink drain pipe, about 5 feet, had corroded and had multiple holes in it. Whenever kitchen sink was used, some water would run down the wall and end up downstairs on ceiling and window areas. Pipe was replaced and in addition slow running bathtub drains were also rooted out and a toilet operating unit was replaced. Originally hired to check where water was coming from but not only was source found but all work was all done in one day."

"I have been fighting bad well water for 18 years with water that smelled and was black. I had three companies sell me systems that were suppose to solve the problem but did not. I then talked to three more companies that knew what I needed without testing my water. These companies were all selling a standard system for all people for a lot of money instead of one for your problems. I came across Water Specialties Group at the Pheasant Run Home Show at Saint Charles. They were the only dealer that did a lab test of your water before they would make recommendations. They then explained the lab test, what the water problems were, and what it would take to fix it with a guarantee that the water problems would be corrected. The price was similar to what the other companies were charging.
The installation was very professional with the installer more concerned on a quality job instead of time. For the first time since building our house 18 years ago, we have really good water. The water is clean, soft, and does not have an odor. The black water is gone. The system is economical on material and is easy to use. They even came out for a post installation visit with another water test to be sure that everything was operating correctly.
I could not be more pleased. Water Specialties Group is the first real professional water treatment company I have found. They will test your water to find out what your specific water problems are and what it will take to solve the problems. Their prices are similar to what the other companies charge. But the price is a much better value as the water problem is actually solved instead of having to keep spending money on more systems. What it took to fix my water problems is not important as each person has different water. The process that Water Specialties Group uses to find and cure the problem is what is important.
I give Water Specialties Group my highest recommendation.
"

"When I noticed water on the basement floor under my bathroom, I knew I needed a really good plumber. The bathroom drain was original to my 60-year old house and it was heavy, galvanized pipe. I've tried several plumbers when I've needed service at my house for clearing drains and such. I usually spend some time talking to plumbers about other jobs that I'm thinking are needed and listening to their recommendations. The one other time I'd used Fettes Love & Sieben to fix a leaky pipe, the service person impressed me with his thoroughness and attention to detail, so I decided to call them for this problem. I was not disappointed.
Roger arrived on schedule and spent an hour examining the drain, thinking/talking through the approach to fix it, and answering all my questions. Based on where and how the water was leaking (near the old drum trap, and after running the tub/shower), Roger found that it was caused by a small hole in the original galvanized drain pipe. We talked a little about the hassles of fixing aged plumbing, and I was impressed with Roger's confidence that the leaky pipe stems in my original lavatory sink could be fixed. (Another plumbing company had advised that I should be prepared to replace the fixtures -- and consequently the entire sink -- because it was difficult to fix leaky stems in such old plumbing. It was great to hear that I may be able to get them fixed without so much expense and hassle!)
The stretch of pipe where the leak was located was six feet long, and installed very close to the floorboards. Roger explained that the section needed to be removed, and the obsolete style of trap would need to be pulled out and replaced, as well. He didn't have the necessary parts on his truck, so he would have the office call me the next day to schedule the work. I was told that there was no payment due that day and would be charged for the job when it was completed.
The next day the office called me as promised and said that they could schedule another plumber to fix the leak right away, but that Roger was working on another job for the next few days. Since the leak could be avoided by me using the tub/shower in the second floor bathroom and I didn't want to risk that Roger's plan for replacing the pipe would get off track with a new plumber, I decided to wait and scheduled a day the following week when our schedules worked together.
The pipe replacement went as planned and Roger made sure the drain was working well. When I mentioned that the lavatory sink drained slowly, he cleaned the pop up. Then I asked if he'd do the same for second floor tub/shower since I had noticed that drain was slow over the past week of me using it. Roger also cleaned that drain and made sure it was working well.
The full bill was fair and reflected the time Roger had spent on the diagnostic visit, as well as the visit to do the repair. I'm also planning to schedule Fettes Love & Sieben to come back and fix the leaky lavatory sink stems before the end of the year. I like that the professionals I've dealt with through Fettes Love & Sieben seem to be true craftsmen who know a lot about plumbing and problem-solving, and that they are clear communicators.
"

"From the first phone call to Johnson Water and speaking with Jenelle to the final installation with Pete, everything went perfect. Jenelle at the office answered all of my questions, and I had a lot of them, to Pete with the install and explaining how the unit worked, and how to use the electronic metering unit. I would highly recommend Johnson Water Conditioning."

"David on both visits was very prompt and professional. He installed a mail slot on a steel front door and did quality work.
He also fixed and reenforced a broken door that was damaged from an attempted break in. Because of David's work, nobody will be kicking down that door. David has excellent communication, fair pricing, and does excellent work.
"
