"GREAT!!!!! On time, very well focused on the task at hand!!! and VERY CLEAN. The chimney was cleaned and inspected to ensure safe operation!!! A very thorough cleaning of the dryer vent. Also inspected for safe operation!!! This company is very good!!! They completely installed a new wood burning stove and brought the chimney up to code for a safe operation. "We have had two gas fireplaces installed in our home by Reign of Fire over a period of five years, and have been completely satisfied! One was an insert into an existing wood fireplace and chimney. The second was replacing an ancient “builder’s gas fireplace” (no firebox or chimney) and direct venting through the roof. The second job involved modifications of the space to accommodate a see-through fireplace, and Reign of Fire even recommended a fantastic stone mason who created a stone surround in both rooms, including mantles made of reclaimed wood and a one-piece hearthstone. It’s so awesome we were almost sad for summer to arrive—we used it every day! From our first question, through planning and installation, everyone at Reign of Fire was patient, helpful, supportive, professional, trustworthy, and reliable. We highly recommend Reign of Fire."

FAQs for brick or stone fireplace installation projects in Aurora, CO

A chimney liner lasts between 15 and 25 years, depending on the material. Aluminum liners last about five years, while cast-in-place liners can last up to 50 years. Regular professional inspections can reveal signs of deterioration, such as cracking or crumbling chimney walls, ensuring necessary repairs are made to maintain structural safety and efficiency.

Yes, a chimney liner is essential. It prevents dangerous heat and toxic gases from reaching surrounding materials, reducing fire risks and structural damage. A well-installed liner safeguards your masonry, directs harmful emissions outside, and enhances heating efficiency. Regular inspections and cleaning maintain your chimney liner’s performance, keeping your home secure and energy-efficient.

Creosote buildup occurs when burning wood releases tar that adheres to the chimney liner, posing a fire hazard. Regular professional chimney inspections and cleanings by qualified chimney sweeps will effectively manage creosote deposits, preventing dangerous conditions and costly repairs. Maintaining a clean chimney liner is essential for long-term performance and safety.
