"When some workers were on my roof fixing a broken shingle, they noticed that the bricks on my chimney looked like they were crumbling.  I called Thompson's Masonry to get an estimate of repair work.  Bob Thompson came out right away, and recommended a complete chimney rebuild.  He also gave me an estimate for replacing some damaged bricks and tuckpointing and sealing the brickwork on the front of my house, which was in pretty bad shape.  When I spoke to Bob, he agreed to take off $100 if I had both done at the same time, which I really appreciated since they were both fairly big expenses.  (He also offered to honor the estimate for the brickwork on the front next spring if I decided to just do the chimney and wait on the rest, but I decided to go ahead with both).  Bob was great - friendly and professional.  He called me back right away, answered all of my questions, and showed up when he said he would.  He was able to match the bricks and mortar color of the existing brickwork.  He even fixed the tuckpointing on my front steps, which another group had "fixed" (badly) in the spring, so it matched.  Everything looks great.  I would definitely call him again if I need any masonry work done.  <br />"

"     First, I'm sorry for getting this in so late.  It's been about six months since Shawn did our kitchen and everyone who sees it raves about it!  The detail that Shawn went through is hard to come by anymore.  When Shawn said he was going to work, he was here and left only when he had done as much as he could for the day.  He said the work was going to take about 3 weeks and it did.  To gut a room, especially a kitchen, is a dirty job, but the amount of cleaning that I had to do afterwards was minimal, as far as I was concerned and on any given day, there was hardly anything that I had to do.  Shawn always cleaned up after himself.  I never had ANY problems with Shawn or the work he has done!  I intend to have him do at least one bathroom in the future.  I don't see any reason to check with anyone else.       Shawn came over several times with estimates and blueprints of what the kitchen was going to look like, prior to the actual remodeling of our kitchen.  We set up a time for him to start and that's when he started.  He ALWAYS communicated with us as far was what was going on and asked us ot let him know if there was something else that needed to be done or changed.  At this point in time the ONLY thing that I had to fix or adjust was our new faucet sprayer...it was leaking a little and all I had to do was hand tighten it and I've had no problems since.  Thanks Shawn for a GREAT job!"
