"I can't say enough about Justin and his team. He added on a patio to an existing walkway, installed a firepit, and finished off a retaining wall. Justin is extremely professional, communicated very well throughout the entire project, and his prices are very reasonable. He did an excellent job matching the new paves to the existing pavers, which is not an easy job. I have already received so many compliments on my new patio and several neighbors asking me who did the work. I would highly recommend Northeast Hardscapes and Masonry!"

"<p> <br /> <br /></p> <p>I had Integrity do some much needed work last fall which included a cleaning, a new liner and a new connector and flu at my furnace.  They also replaced missing bricks/mortar and installed a new chimney cap.  They did an excellent job at a reasonable price; returned all my calls and showed up at the agreed upon time.  And to my amazement; it only took them a few hours to complete all these tasks.</p> <p> <br /> <br /></p> <br />"

"Ben is an experienced craftsman - highly professional, trustworthy and dependable. He is a 5-star person who does 5-star masonry work. He came out to our home over the weekend in the rain, provided a very reasonable cost estimate and was able to adjust his schedule to fit our needs. You will nor find a better or more dependable mason. We will definitely use him for any future masonry projects."

"David was great to work with. We communicated by email, phone and in-person and he was always very quick to respond and answer any questions I had. David and his crew re-built the top layers of our chimney, inserted a liner to our water heater, poured a concrete cap and sealed/waterproofed the brick. At the end of the job he actually came in $300 under the amount originally estimated. David clearly takes great pride in his work and we are very pleased and impressed with the repairs. I highly recommend D.R. Custom Masonry to anyone looking for similar services."

"Paul is great... He came and looked at the water damage near my front and back door. He gave me a very reasonable quote. He knew exactly what to do with both the doors and explained me all the work he is going to do. He saved the front door and had to replace the back door because of the excessive damage. He replaced the subfloor and installed tile (backdoor) and hardwood (front door). Overall I am very happy with the way the repair of the floor (both tile and hardwood) came out."

"I am extremely pleased with the work that Kirby Masonry did. I had an old all brick stairway (8 feet wide, 7 stairs high) replaced with brick risers and pillars/sidewalls (as original) but with blue mist granite treads. I believe the brick color was Mohawk. I originally thought of using bluestone but Jason suggested blue mist granite. He and his stone supplier, Southridge Farm in Walpole, informed me that bluestone is not as durable, supply is dwindling and is more expensive than blue granite. It was a good alternative to the regular gray granite that is used and I like the look. The mortar in the original brick stairs was disintegrating due to the use of salt for snow/ice melting and I was committed to having a stair surface that would be less permeable to chemicals. Jason and his crew did outstanding work and the results are superb. The new stairs look fantastic and are much safer now that the old brick stairs have been replaced. The new stairs looked so good that I was inspired to have the stair landing leading to the sidewalk and the upper landing leading to the front door replaced as well. The original landings were stamped concrete and were OK but detracted from the look of the new stairs. I had Jason and his crew install both landings with Belgard rectangle pavers (London Cobble Danville Blend for the landings Charcoal for the borders). The finished job added a cleaner, elegant and updated look to the house. In addition to the front stair and landing replacement I had Jason and his crew point the stone foundation of the house. It had been pointed about 15 years ago but I felt it was time to get it done again. I like the work that Jason and the crew had done and was confident that they would do a thorough job with the pointing, too. Jason had time in his schedule to fit in the pointing job so I had it done right after the stairs were replaced. I talked to several masons last fall before selecting Kirby Masonry and was running up against the cold weather for getting the job done. Quotes ranged from $4,000 to $20,000 depending on how much work was involved. Jason's quote was most favorable and he offered different options since I wasn't sure if I was going to replace the pillars/sidewalls or if I needed to replace the landings. He was flexible and provided me with several locations where he was currently doing work or had completed work so I could see what his work was like. I liked that these jobs were local and that he was transparent about his work. He could have done the work last November but we decided to have it done this past spring. Jason offered the best price and could do the job sooner than the others. It took about a week to do all the jobs. After the jobs were done I noticed there was a small gap in the upper landing between the border and the wall where more mortar was needed. I contacted Jason and he took care of it. It was a very small fix and not critical so I was not surprised when it was not taken care of right away. I believe that if I was more concerned about getting this fixed sooner Jason would have done it. Overall, I highly recommend Kirby Masonry and will definitely hire them again for any masonry job I might have. Jason is very timely and communicates mostly by texting and responds quickly. He was there every day working with his crew. They did a great job cleaning up and even replaced the soil in the areas of the lawn next to the side pillars which had been displaced/moved. I have received many compliments on the new stairs and landing from my neighbors and people who parked on the street near the house. Unlike some masons he did not place a sign on the lawn with his company name. I suggested that he might want to but he was ok not doing so. I've had some requests for his contact information which I gladly provide. Since Jason is very busy and if you like his quote I recommend that you get on his schedule as soon as possible. Some tips: Use sand on brick stairs. Salt and chemicals wreck the mortar. Who knew especially when we were trying to keep up during the megastorms of 2014-2015? If you go to Southridge Farm you might want to bring your kids as they have farm animals (including a llama) on site. They have a huge selection of pavers and stones to view. Check their website for more info."

"For years we have used a differeny chimney sweep company, but they have raised their prices dramatically, so we were looking for an alternative for the annual cleaning. We found Bob's Magic Broom through Angie's list and they have been absolutely fantastic. They will have us as new customers for life. Great price, great service, clean, punctual, and professional. I rate them A+."

"Front walk was old and heaved-up by tree roots. De Angelis masons disposed of all old pieces, dug out roots, and replaced entire walk (approx 4' x 9') with pavers. Worked through several standard paver designs; finally customized one that would fit this narrow space. Estimated 1.5 days but finished job in 1 day; walk has been stable through 2014-2015 winter. Also patched a couple of holes in old concrete steps. <br /> Cut through ~3'-high brick wall separating back walk from yard; covered cut surfaces and set bluestone threshold to keep yard in place. Came back a day later to retrieve tarp (needed on cut surfaces so they would cure) instead of making us dispose of it. <br /> Not cheap, but very high quality work. Will certainly go to them for any other masonry needs. <br />"

"We contacted the company over the winter when our chimney started crumbling. Once the weather was warm enough, we were contacted right away to set up a date to replace the chimney. His price was lower than the others we checked (even before the Angie's List discount). They arrived promptly at 7am and were gone before we even got home from work at 3:00. No mess was left at all. New chimney looks perfect. Thank you for an excellent job!"
