"DO NOT USE: We were quoted $6K for a shower kit install. Upon completion of the work, it was immediately apparent that the installation was defective and did not meet acceptable industry standards. Specifically: No water membrane was installed behind the shower kit, rendering the installation non-compliant with waterproofing best practices. No caulking was applied to seal seams, leaving the installation vulnerable to water intrusion and damage. The walls and surrounding trim were not plumb, which made it impossible to install a functioning shower door. A McLendon's supervisor subsequently inspected the installation onsite and acknowledged the poor workmanship. We were informed that the matter would be addressed, but despite multiple follow-up phone calls, we received no further communication or resolution from McLendon's. Nevertheless, the remaining balance of $3,100 was charged to our account without our authorization or consent and without any resolution."

"Fast Water Heater did not install a drip pan and did not extend the pressure release valve line to the outside. Now they will not take my calls. "

"We highly recommend Paul and Empire Drain Co. He was responsive to my phone calls, even on weekends. We had an emergency plumbing problem on a weekend and Paul fixed it before we got a call back from the company we'd used previously. He is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and willing to work hard to solve plumbing issues. We were so pleased with his services that we had him back to install a new garbage disposal, which went smoothly. We plan to call on Empire Drain Co for all of our plumbing needs and have recommended him to our friends and family."

"It is not often that a repair person comes to your home and performs above expectations. Michael, from Mainline Plumbing, did just that. He corrected the challenge of a sub flow kitchen faucet that has plagued us for several years. The plumber, who previously installed it said that it was what it should be. Once my wife used the corrected faucet, she kept saying, “I can’t believe it!”"

"We have been using Button Plumbing for well over 15 years, both at our previous home, our current home, and family member's home as well. I have have had Hot water heaters replaced (both gas and electric), furnace service (very first service call I believe along with replacing electric hot water heater with gas model). Tub insert and shower valve assembly replacement. We have had toilets replaced, another constantly running toilet valve replaced, and a utility sinks installed at the two different homes. Every time we have had fantastic service from Jim or another plumber (mostly have had Jim at our jobs). Carole is fantastic at scheduling and invoicing and is super friendly and helpful with all aspects of quoting the job to dispatching the service technician. With a smaller company and smaller staff while I could see some delays in scheduling (availability) we have never had an issue or extended wait. The most recent job we had a hot water fail at a family members.. We called Carole (after hours) and left a message and still received a call back that same evening. They fit Jim in the very next day, later in the afternoon, and we had a fully replace hot water heater in less than 24 hours from when we contacted them. Their prices are always competitive and inline, often less than DIY jobs for parts had I gone to the big-box store, and the labor fees are well worth the price vs. time as quality is second to none. I just called to schedule hot water replacement at my current house, and have it scheduled this coming week (9 days from now) as that worked with my schedule. If I were under duress, I am confident I could have it done sooner. I highly recommend Button Plumbing and will recommend them to my friends, family members, and even other anonymous members of the Yelp community."

"I asked them to locate the septic tank. They failed but they offered to try to replace the septic line for $9,000. When I said I needed another opinion they offered to unclog my slow-draining septic system with a snake. They said it might not work but they would try if I wanted them to and it would only cost $700+. I agreed. They ran their snake through the system and got it stuck in the septic tank. They could not pull it out so they asked me if they could cut it off inside the house. They said it could be pulled out from the other end through the septic tank but they could not do it because they are not licensed to work on septic systems. Why did they run a snake through a septic system? I had to let them cut the snake. They could not leave their machinery with me. They offered again to replace the septic line for $9,000, this time to get the snake out. I declined. The snake is so stuck in the septic line and tank, multiple septic companies said they cannot remove the snake, and left in the line it will clog the line and I will have to connect to the sewer. That, with landscape repair, could cost $50,000. Jim Dandy claims their work order says they are not responsible for disabling my septic system and they don't want to discuss it. A septic company found the septic pump failed and is the actual cause of the problem. The septic line was never clogged. It is draining with the snake in it. The septic company said they are "blown away" that Jim Dandy snaked a clay septic line. They said it's thinwall clay pipe that is easily damaged. They don't think they can remove the snake from the septic line without damaging the line. Jim Dandy has a hydro jetting service that could have worked and not damaged the system but they never offered it. They charged me $800 to snake the line and disable my septic system."

"Our well was just completed. JKA Well Drilling of Monroe did an excellent job. Pierce did the initial evaluation. From the drilling, placing the casing, pump, plumbing and electric everything went smoothly. All personnel were a pleasure to deal with. The well is great thanks for everything, happy we chose them for the job."
