"I had to have my chimney repaired. I had to have some brick work done on the chimney and I needed a cap. I called North American Chimney because I had them out to clean my chimney before and they did a nice job. I called and made an appt. The technicians came out to take a look and gave me a price for a cap and brickwork. I was pleased with the price and I told them to do the job. They did the work that day and I was so happy. The technicians were very professional and knowledgable. I would recommend them to anyone that needs Chimney work as well as fireplaces and many other services."

"Justin and his crew did an excellent job. I had 2 concrete steps leading to my house capped with granite, ledge stone on the sides and a walkway put in with Casanova pavers. They were on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They completed the project much quicker than expected! Justin was also always very prompt with his email responses which was appreciated. Its rained hard lately and there was no pooling anywhere on the walkway. The job site was left clean when they were done. I would gladly recommend them to a friend and would hire him again in the future."

"Ben and his son repointed and waterproofed my 220 year old stone basement. He gave me a quote within hours of my call, did the work a week later and the price was very reasonable. They showed up on time and kept everything neat and tidy while they worked. He did everything by hand and is very meticulous. The quality of his work is unsurpassed and my basement stone walls look like new. I cannot thank him enough for taking my basement from one I hated, to one I cannot stop looking at. I have many more masonry jobs that I need done and will definitely be hiring Ben again."

"Jason surpassed all competitors and my wildest expectations with respect to price, quality, and speed in which he constructed the front steps with stone work integrated into the facade and granite treads. I had already been informed that once demolished, my new staircase would need to include an additional step in order to be up to code. I had two quotes, and got Kirby's number from a neighbor that had a very impressive staircase recently constructed. Jason's quote was more than $1,000 below the previous lowest estimate, which I liked immediately, but he also demolished my old staircase and constructed a beautiful new one with the additional step, and completed all pointing of my stonework surrounding the stairs in a SINGLE DAY. When it was clear it was going to rain that day, he said "No problem" and built a tent around the workspace in order to complete the job. As if all that weren't enough, I had asked he incorporate a number of stones that matched the foundation of my porch into the stairs and he did it beautifully. I am happy to write him a detailed review on Angie's List which is the only thing he asked for in return. I will definitely call Kirby Masonry for projects in the future and would recommend them to anyone. Cheers!"

"Joe arrived a little late, apparently the job before ours took longer than expected. However, he was otherwise great. Very polite and efficient. Cleaned after himself so well that I did not see any trace that he had been there (except that all the fireplaces and the oil furnace flue were exceptionally clean). This is the first time that we had a chimney cleaned, but I was very impressed with his overall demeanor and efficiency. I appreciated the fact that Joe was able to come on a Saturday, with very short notice. We were very happy and would recommend his service heartily."

Unfortunately, due to onset of cold winter weather some recommendations are best left done until spring. Appreciated his straight forward honesty. "Front walk was old and heaved-up by tree roots. De Angelis masons disposed of all old pieces, dug out roots, and replaced entire walk (approx 4' x 9') with pavers. Worked through several standard paver designs; finally customized one that would fit this narrow space. Estimated 1.5 days but finished job in 1 day; walk has been stable through 2014-2015 winter. Also patched a couple of holes in old concrete steps. <br /> Cut through ~3'-high brick wall separating back walk from yard; covered cut surfaces and set bluestone threshold to keep yard in place. Came back a day later to retrieve tarp (needed on cut surfaces so they would cure) instead of making us dispose of it. <br /> Not cheap, but very high quality work. Will certainly go to them for any other masonry needs. <br />"

"We contacted the company over the winter when our chimney started crumbling. Once the weather was warm enough, we were contacted right away to set up a date to replace the chimney. His price was lower than the others we checked (even before the Angie's List discount). They arrived promptly at 7am and were gone before we even got home from work at 3:00. No mess was left at all. New chimney looks perfect. Thank you for an excellent job!"

"<p>2 workers showed up , started to demolish, were not very careful where all the bricks and old insulation fell.</p> <p>the worker, were very personable, nice, but slobs. The chimney was rebuild and I assume was done right, </p> <p>it took two days. The clean up wasn't so good, I offered the use </p> <p>of our leaf blower to get rid of the old insulation which was spread on the roof, I finally told them to go because</p> <p>the mess they created was damaging some of the ground cover and planting.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Nice guys, but clean up is not high on the list.  I had to hire some one to clean the roof and also clean out the gutters</p> <p>there was 2 inches of sand in the gutter. They also would honor the Coupon I had from Angie's list booklet,</p> <p>reason: there was more work than they thought.( I have to believe them I don't know.)</p> <p><br /></p> <p>The chimney looks good</p> , but this company should invest in some tarps, which makes to clean up easier. <br />"
