"It was a good experience from the start. The customer service representative who answered my call was pleasant, professional, and efficient. I was surprised to get an appt. within a few days of my call. Nick was the tech who responded. He explained everything step by step through his visit. He spent an hour looking over the entire unit rather than suggesting a "quick fix" like the previous repairman. I could have had my unit up an running for about $150, but I opted for the 24 point cleaning and maintenance package which increased the cost by about $200. We have lived in the house for 5 years, and the gas fireplace has been one of our favorite features. However, we didn't know it could look so good until Nick worked his magic. We will be signing up for the service contract which seems to be an especially good deal. This relatively small business seems to really have its act together."

"The estimate went great, Jake (estimate contact) was very informative and thorough. Scheduling initially went well, however there were several hiccups in the "two day project". The first issue encountered after day 1 was the large amount of debris left in my back yard. It was noted on the contract that there is no backyard access and that all material was to be taken back over the roof to the front. My project manager Jesse was very quick to remedy this and was there that evening to clean up. I was then curious about the "smart vent" that was installed on the front and back of the roof and why it was located so high on both sides near the peak. I was contacted the next day and advised the smart vent was installed in the wrong place and that they would need to come back out and move it. The company did a good job moving the vents and replaced all of the wood that was cut out of the roof for the initial and wrong placement. The company then sent out two representatives to inspect the attic and the fix. The crew also forgot to install an additional vent, which was on the contract, but they were able to come back out to install that. Regarding the window capping and porch work, the company advised me that this would be a separate day with a different crew. Scheduling went well for this, but I received a call from my project manager advising me that the crew did not feel comfortable doing this portion of the job. My project manager got a different crew, which was able to successfully complete this portion, however they forgot to caulk some of the windows and were back out that night to finish. Currently I am waiting a final inspection of everything, as the company upgraded my warranty for all of the issues. I was very happy with Jesse (project manager), he was very professional and tried his best to make everything right."

"Mr. Grant came and gave an estimate for a new roof within 48hrs of my phone call. He was friendly, professional , and informative.  He inspected the roof, fascia, and soffits and suggested what options were available to us , and the benefit of each. He showed us a variety of shingles, and explained the benefits and costs of each.  He gave us a contract  and said if we wanted to have it done, send the downpayment ,and we would be scheduled in a bout 2 to 3 weeks.   As promised  we received a call a duple of days in advance, and as scheduled , Mr Grant showed up with a crew of about 8 men......the roof was finished in about 2 1/2  hours !   They worked efficiently and as a well prepared team, and cleaned the area thoroughly before they left.    I would highly recommend them without any reservations at all ! <br />"

"Wanted to match the two new windows installed during Kitchen renovation 11 yrs prior. Initially called a local company who sent out a rep, did a quick walk-thru, scheduled another person to come and measure for estimate, who never showed. After calling and reschedule, still a no-show. I then contacted Andersen Corporate in MN, who recommended Advance. What an amazing difference! Matt Skibiki arrived when promised, very professional and knowledgeable. Impressed us as a gentleman who was very familiar with all aspects of the job. After expressing our displeasure with the manner in which the two windows were trimmed outside from our prior renovation, he assured us that their work would be nothing like that. He contacted us with their estimate shortly thereafter, with a personal promise from Gary the owner that we would be very impressed with their workmanship or they would make it right, which was documented in our contract. Gary Craig then came and measured for the order, another great guy, obviously very experienced and professional, indicating that our inside trim would be left intact unless they found some bad wood. Amazing! We were forewarned up front that the order would take months, totally understood especially during the supply-chain issues in today’s world……heck, we’d been waiting 32 years, what’s a few months…..! Megan had to reschedule us a couple times for weather issues, but the big day finally came on the coldest day in 3 years! The install crew arrived punctually that morning, Cory, Mark, & Ray, more great, professional, and courteous guys! What a team!! They worked like a well-oiled machine, really put us at ease regarding the outside trim, and did IMPECCABLE work!! In bitter cold no less. These guys did not mess around, were so friendly, and did really craftsman-like work, cleaned everything up, even removed the film and stickers from the glass. Just can’t say enough. We don’t even need to paint the inside trim, just amazing. And outside is very tastefully trimmed out……totally transformed our house-just incredible! WE’re SO glad we found Advance, and will be calling them again. I apologize if I left anyone out, rest assured that everyone we had contact with throughout the entire process was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. It’s a big investment & you worry about the entire process, we couldn’t have chosen a better outfit. Thank you."

"The Arnold Schwarznegger of raccoons had mangled the box vent on our roof and had become a very frequent (and very unwelcome) visitor. Anthony came out to have a look the day we contacted him and was able to quickly assess the damage and outline the necessary repairs. Admittedly I was a little surprised at how much this was going to cost me, BUT he also was very honest when I showed him other wet stains on our ceiling that I thought might be due to damage on the roof and told me they were not, and advised how we could deal with them. He could have easily hoodwinked us and padded the needed repairs, but I was impressed by his honesty. We decided to go ahead with the work. He couldn't find the same vent that had been damaged and had to hunt around for an alternative. Even with the difficulty in finding the right vent, and the almost daily thunderstorms, within a week from first contact, the job was complete. I would have never even known they were there except for the fact that the repairs were obvious. Often, when we have had outside repairs done, we find ourselves stuck with the clean up. Not so with Mr. Holden. It is so difficult to find a home improvement contractor who is prompt, competent, and reliable. I'm very happy to have found Mr. Holden, will happily hire him for any future work we need done, and can say that I recommend him without reservation."

"We used chimney sweep people for chimney sweeping and they are called Clean Sweep. Those guys are wonderful. They are very caring as it is a dirty job. They take a lot of precautions to make sure that they are always laying tarps over the flooring and make sure that nothing gets messed up. We have 3 large dogs and they interact with them and they are not afraid of the dogs. We had a beehive stuck in the chimney, one year, and they couldn't take care of it and they recommended an exterminator service to take care of that and got that taken care of. We have an old Victorian house that it takes some old type of staff to get on the roof and they are just very, very meticulous in what they do and safety comes first with that. They don't take chances on anything. They don't do chimney repair, we used them as a referral service all the time. They referred our chimney repair person, our floor repair person, our wood person. If we need anything done we call them and then they tell us who to go to. I don't know what they charge but my husband doesn’t complain. He would complain if it was too much and he wouldn't use them again."
