"After having the gas company come out and confirm that the furnace was slowly leaking gas from around the gas valve, we called Charest Heating & Cooling around 9:30pm on a Saturday night. They were very prompt in their response time to our house and their emergency after hours fee was reasonable and very competitive. The technician Josh was very polite and professional. He quickly confirmed that the gas valve needed to be replaced and provided me a quote for the job, not just an hourly fee like many other companies would have charged. It took a some time and travel for Josh to get the right valve for the job which was completely understandable that late on a weekend night. Once the part was in hand, the job was completed quickly. Josh remained very friendly and professional the entire time despite the late hour by the time the job was finished. We were very impressed with the availability, promptness and professionalism and we will definitely use again."

"stay away- they are very dangerous- improperly installed (twice before realizing their error) a natural gas water heater in a home that only has natural gas. Luckily no harm - this time- but realize the water heater states to use the proper gas- danger of harm including death. Please be aware that they took the old water heater out - so they should have known the type of gas (plus drove right pass the big outside LP tank multiple times) There are a lot of other issues but this was the most disturbing"
