"My stove stopped working a few days before Christmas during this cold 2014/15 winter.   None of the dealers in my area was answering the phone, or available or even qualified to repair the stove under warranty.    I called Mace Energy and they answered right away.  It was immediately clear that I was talking to the right people.    They knew all about my stove and were able to provide some initial advice over the phone.  When that didn't work, they sent a crew to my house over 60 miles away (out of their normal service area) on December 24th, Christmas Eve, and were able to fix my problem.  The arrived on time, knew their stuff and fixed my stove issues.   We had a warm fire for Christmas Eve and for the rest of the winter! <br /> I am not of the Christian religion :) However, I can very much appreciate the effort and the spirit these guys showed to get us up and running that night.  I am very grateful for that.   They came to my rescue when I needed it the most and no one else was willing.  What else is there to say?  How much is that worth in $$?  Just to compare - some of the large dealers I called in December this year called me up to 30 days later!!! <br /> I keep using them as a source of information and service for my stove and will recommend them to anyone.  They are always nice and knowledgeable on the phone.  Keep up the great work guys! <br /> <br />"

"All went well. Scheduling service was handled politely and professionally. Service offered me a better deal than I found on website. Service man was very professional and polite. He always called me approximately 20 minutes from the time he planned to arrive. Service man always arrived withing the time frame promised."

"They came out on 11/1/14 and determined that both chimneys required repairs. They could not do the repairs until 11/29/14, when I was told that they would be at my home at 8:30. They arrived at 9:40, without one of the parts needed to do all of the repairs. They claimed that their supplier wasn't open- I don't know why, with 28 days to get the needed part, they waited until the last day. Then they offered to come and finish on Tuesday! (I'm supposed to take a day off work because they can't think ahead?) They will be coming back on Monday to finish their work. In the meantime, we cannot use the coal stove. It has taken them a month and three actual days of  being at home with them for them to make these repairs. <br />"

"After price negotiations -- company wanted to send workers from farther away from us than frederick and to charge us for the travel and to charge more since it was their busy season. Workers arrived late morning and ran out of flue liner early afternoon and had to wait two hours for resupply. They worked late but arrived late the next morning too, and worked until dark but said they could not come back for four days to finish the job leaving three rooms out of commission. We protested vigorously to the management and they agreed to send workers back the next day to finish. They worked hard and got it all done. They did a great job and our 200 year old chimneys are now safe watertight and drawing like a charm. We are very happy with the work and the skills of the workers. They left the job site clean and neat as well. We would use them again but would be very clear about timelines and basis of charges."
