"Needed sewage pump replaced and line opened up. Called several others (Barr, A+,Fremyer, Comstock, Tri County) . None knew or cared what to do. I was told various things, call someone else or just ghosted. Powells took the bull by the horns. They tracked down the manufacturer of my old school system here in The Woods and with some detective work diagnosed and replaced pump without digging it all up. Two prior companies had said it needed to be dug up. If you have a REAL problem, call a REAL plumber!"

"Installation was awful. They wanted to charge me for anything and everything. Then slat delivery was supposed to be regular, but I had to insist on delivery when I ran out. When they did deliver, they left dozens of empty salt bags strewn all over and tore up the vapor barrier in my crawl space so badly that that it has to be replaced. I called to complain. The manager told me to find another service. Culligan wouldn't serve me any more."

Originally the new pump was installed with a temperature-controlled on/off switch but it turned out that that was not workable for the configuration of my plumbing. Therefore, a programmable timer had to be installed instead. This was very straightforward and did not involve additional plumbing. Instead it was simply a matter of swapping out the temperature module wired to the pump with a timer module."
