"Overall the job was very good. During the pre-job agreement I mentioned to the owner that I observed some sagging in the roof in one small section of the roof and I wanted it to be leveled. He agreed that they were going to take a look at it and they included extra decks in the overall price. On the day of the job, I mentioned to the job supervisor about the sag and when I follow up, I saw that nothing was done to fix the issue and they started to cover the roof. I stop the crew and discussed why they didn't fix the issue. They tried to explain me that it was an issue with the structure and there was nothing they could do. After jumping on the roof, I saw that the issue was that one rafter was set slightly lower and because it was in an area were people prefer to walk when stepping in the roof, it happens that the deck sag because of lack of support. I asked the crew to put a strip of wood on top of the rafter to level it off. This do the trick, and the job continued normally. 3 screens mesh from the windows were damaged. I had the tool to fix it, and the supervisors bought the material and borrowed the tool from me to fix them. They mentioned that tearing screen meshes from the old roof debris haven't happened to them in several years. Anyhow after the issues at my house, they bought their own tool to repair screen meshes. They either miscalculated the number of ridge shingles or they were lost with the old roof material. They had to come the next day to finish the ridge shingles. They cleaned the exterior of the house, but they forgot to mention that the garage was going to be full of debris. I unfortunately noticed too late after they left, so I had to clean it myself. They agreed to come on the following weekend to paint a section of the flashing but after almost a week after, I call to remind them about the pending work to fix one last screen mesh and paint the flashing, which they did the following day. As I mentioned the work was very good overall, and I am satisfied with the roof and the looks of it, however I had to take a day and a half off and followed all the process to ensure things were being done to our satisfaction. I would have put all A's, but the B's in punctuality and professionalism is because of the extra reminder phone call to do the final touch, and for not proactively fixing the sag in the roof and starting to cover the section without notifying me."

"Serviceman was right on time. Before cleaning the inside of my fireplace, as well as the gas logs, he laid a blanket down so no dust could get on my floor or furnishings. He noticed that the logs were set a little too close to the front, then adjusted the log rack so the gas could flow better through the logs. He also noted that the gas pipe was at the correct length to the logs. Next, he went outside and did an inspection of the chimney by getting on the roof. Except for a slight crack in the caulking around the cap there were no problems. The caulking was not something that required repair at this time. This serviceman was very professional in doing his job, in cleaning up after his inspection, and in the information he gave. I will call this company again."

"After inspecting the chimney, the two technicians provided a quote for cleaning and repair. The cleaning price was the same as the previous quote by phone ($89 for basic cleaning) but the repair was a little expensive ($288 for attaching a metal flange, caulking and painting the repair). They provided the paint, which was similar to the original color of the chimney but not the same. By the time that I located a leftover gallon of the original paint, they had finished the job. My fault for not insisting that they wait to use my paint. The technicians were courteous and professional and did a good job."

"The job required two full days. The plan was to first tear off the existing roof, second to install a new deck, third to install the new shingle roof, and finally to remove any remaining debris and inspect the job for any final touch ups. The tear off started when the workers laid large tarps around the perimeter of the house to contain the debris from the shingle and cedar shake tear off. Even before the tear off was complete, a second crew started installing the deck. Both the tear off and deck installation was completed in the first day. During this deck installation, 70 feet of decayed fascia board was replaced and painted. The shingle installation was completed on the second day. After the roof was installed, each worker used a magnet and plastic bag to collect debris and nails. I have yet to find a nail after the workers left."

"The inspection found some serious problems with our fireplace, so what had been a good deal on a cleaning ended up being a $700 repair project. However, on both visits the guys were extremely professional, friendly and helpful, and they seem to do very careful, high quality work. I've never paid for fireplace repair before, but I have no reason to believe their price was unfair.
