"This isn't my first review of Holmes Cooling and Heating. I have always given Bart Holmes excellent reviews. I want to comment about how he goes the extra mile. I have my A/C unit replaced in Florida by Bart while I was at my home in Chicago. In spite of this being long distance, it went exceedingly well. Upon return to Florida I called Bart to ask if anything needed to be done. He scheduled a visit and went over the workings of the new machine and showed me how to flush the drainage pipes and clean them with bleach. He told me that the processes will make my unit last longer and likely will help avoid service visits in the future. Remarkably, he didn't charge me for the visit! Bart provides excellent service and stands by everything he does. He is always available and will spend time on the phone, if necessary, to walk you through minor fixes. I have used him for "years" and recommend him with no hesitation whatsoever!!"

"Arrived at 9:30 am. Installation went smoothly. They took away the old system. Very happy with the new Carrier system. They showed me how to program the digital thermostat. I was without AC for a week because my old AC's condenser coil had a leak in the aluminum part. My condenser was mismatched with my air handler/evaporator so the whole system needed to be replaced. These guys did a great job and cleaned up the work debris after."

"We were happy with all aspects of dealing with this company. Both the people in the office and techs they sent out had great customer service skills, explained everything and accomplished everything they said they would in the time they promised. There was a small accident while taking the duct cleaner in and out of our house, a tile on our front step got chipped. The techs showed it to me and the put me in immediate contact with office to resolve the issue. They promptly got a licensed contractor out to replace the tile and took care of everything. "I came home from vacation to find my 15year old air conditioner was dead. Called East Coast just before 7am the next morning and by 9 Scott was here. After discussing options, I decided to replace and upgrade the whole system. He was able to get the old unit up and running that morning, while I waited for the new system to be installed. He sent a technician over at the end of the day to make sure It would make it through the night. The installation of the new unit went well from my perspective. The new unit was much larger than the old unit and the weather was not cooperative that day, but Joni, persevered and got the job done in a calm professional manner. His work was meticulous and he cleaned up after himself. At the end of his long (probably frustrating) day, he took the time to orient me to my new unit and thermostat. Scott was super, responding to my numerous questions and text messages throughout this process. After 35 years in Broward I have finally found an air conditioning service company that I can recommend."

I met with Chris the sales representative at 10am on Saturday and ARS was installing my AC unit (this was a complete new installation had a wall unit) at 2pm that same day. Gilberto and his assistant were very professional and courteous. My installation was completed on Monday pending the electrician who completed the job today. Believe me, I will be recommending this company to others!!!!"

"We had a new air conditioner installed on October 6th. Everything was great. Leonardo and Adonis were so nice and everything was so clean and neat. They were very efficient. On October 7th we had an issue and the service technician Matt Mena came out and was so great. He did everything and took care of the issue. On October 10 we had another issue and Nick Ford Field Supervisor came and took great care or us. We appreciate these guys so much. They all worked very hard for us. "Owner Andrew came to the house and provided good advice on selecting a replacement AC unit. I took his advice and his crew installed on time and provided me with an great AC unit and cleaned up the site upon leaving. Reason for less than a 5 rating was the demand at 7:00 PM on the evening of the install for payment before the install was complete. Left very bad impression. I gave them half downpayment check which cleared without a problem and I was prepared to write a check upon completion of the install. The 7 PM demand for immediate payment buy credit card prior to install completion undid a lot of hard earned goodwill. Totally puzzling and a lot of unnecessary disappointment"
