"I highly recommend All Star Chimney Sweeps if you ever need chimney work done. When I called a few places to have some work done on my chimney I knew I had chosen the right place when I went with Larry. He is not only very personable he and his associates do excellent work at a fair price. I had called Larry at the beginning of the summer about repairs that I knew needed attention to as I could see several rows of bricks that needed replacing. Larry promptly came out, took pictures of the inside and outside of the chimney where higher up there were more rows of brick that clearly needed replacing and then left us his bid. When I called him back telling him I wanted to have him do the work I asked him if I could wait until summer was over as we had just replaced our above ground pool and wanted to be able to use it and entertain guests for the rest of the summer. I told him I would expect to pay whatever the increase in price was since I wasn't having the work done right away and he quickly said don't worry the price will be the same. I called him again with some additional requests which weren't in the original bid and again he said the price wouldn't change. Larry and his associates just finished the chimney repairs and everything turned out excellent. Their work is superb and they are very neat cleaning everything up at the end of the day. I plan on having Larry do some future work for me on the front of my fireplace on the inside. If you need any chimney work done don't hesitate to hire Larry and his company. "First they did not show up for the first appointment. I had to call and ask if they were coming. Another appointment was made. A third appointment was needed for the cricket . When they installed the cricket, they did not vaccume out the mess. They had a tarp on the ground, but still were disrespectful of my home, walking over the mess and tracking the dirt. I requested information on cleaning the indoor brick. I was told, they had a great product and would bring it out for me to sample. They never came or called me about this product. The never called to ask if the outside brick work was effective after a rain storm. Yes, the re- pointing of the outdoor bricks did not leak, and the work was satisfactory. They need to improve customer service. I will not use them again. <br />"

"Good phone communication with secretary.  I actually purchased before I went away on vacation a few weeks ago--- then scheduled after I returned.  Very prompt. He told me my chimney cement cap was cracked  on top and needed to be fixed (which I had a new one put on 1.5 years ago-by another company).  MTM took pictures with my camera and gave them to me so I could use them when contacting the company that repaired the cap.  He also told me what they used vs what they should have used. <br /> Kept area clean and cleaned up after himself.  Very quick---so quick in fact... I feel bad I did not even catch his name. <br />"

"I have an older home and this particular chimney suffered a bit of damage over last winter's storms. I had hoped it would be a relatively simple repair job but several other chimney companies indicated I'd need a total rebuild, one saying that the chimney "as is" would never pass a home inspection. "Greg was fantastic and very efficient!  He cleaned our poor chimney that has not been cleaned in over 20 years.  He took pictures of the top portion to show us that our chimney was in need of repairs.  We reschedule him to come out in 2 weeks, which he did and finished the job within a couple hours.  He also went above and beyond to throw some of our large sticks off the roof that had fallen from our tree.  If our chimney is ever needed in service again we will be calling Greg. <br />"

"Henry Guzman and his entire crew preformed far beyond our expectations. Not only was their bid the lowest by 4K+ for roofing alone (never mind the chimney repair and power washing) they were attentive, communicative, polite and professional to the extreme. <br /> <br /> After a day of work, work was interrupted for 3 weeks due to a misunderstanding with the Cheshire Historical Commission. CT Masonry covered the unfinished roof with tarp and came by every few days to make sure it was still in place in the wind. When work resumed, they discovered they would practically have to rebuild our wrap around front porch roof. There was never any discussion of adding to the cost--they had made a contract and stuck to it! <br /> <br /> A crew of 5 or 6 worked constantly, Henry bringing them lunch so they didn't have to leave the property. Everything was cleaned up completely after each day's work. They always arrived when they promised and were attentive to our needs in every way. <br /> People all over the neighborhood--especially our next door neighbors--have commented on the quality of the work and the professionalism of the workers. <br /> <br /> I took a check out to Henry's partner, Jose, on the last day. He would not accept it until the work was totally done, everything was cleaned up and he took me on a walk-about to point out what they had done. Imagine that kind of concern and commitment! <br /> <br /> Other estimates for the three jobs separately totaled $$18K.
