"They arrived right at the beginning of the time slot. They repaired all three crowns with new mortar, then sealed them plus the top crown. They wire brushed the chimney and applied a sealant on the whole chimney. Since I did not obtain any other bids for this work, I have no idea how good or bad the price is, thus the B grade for price. They have done prior work for me and have cleaned my chimney for years so I trust them. Workers were friendly and polite and cleaned everything up when they were done."

"I don't usually write reviews, but definitely want to write one for Tekline Roofing. My brother in law recommended Tekline and we are very pleased we had their group do the work. Their customer service was excellent and they responded very quickly with questions. Norm was great at explaining the roofing process, how to get prepared, etc. The cost was very reasonable for the work that was done. Our home is old and has a somewhat complex roof and they definitely didn't cut any corners. We felt confident the work was being done well. The work took longer than expected, partly because they discovered there wasn't plywood on parts of our roof, something they couldn't determine until the old shingles were removed. Tha was excellent and came by our home a few days before the work started to discuss how they would protect our garden-landscaping. They daily placed tarps and plywood to protect damaging things outside and they cleaned up every day after 11-12 hours of hard work. Misael oversaw the daily work and took photos and the team shared updates and photos on a regular basis. At the end of the project, my garden looks great! The roof was just completed this week and they will be back to replace one of the skylights in our attic that was on backorder."

"North Creek Roofing did an excellent job on our roof, and I highly recommend them! From the beginning to the final cleanup, everything was handled professionally and on time. Tanner was especially great to work with — super helpful, responsive, and made the whole process easy to understand. We couldn’t be happier with the results. Great service and quality work!"

"Jerrod the owner of Archstone was emphatic to point out that he is one of the best if not the best and a very conscientious and honest man. He said the mortar on exterior house wall is very hard and can't be ground out. Per his expert advise the best things is pressure wash and scrape out loose and damaged mortar and use sponging technique to fill in cavities with type S mortar. I understood and agreed asking for care with pressure washer. Quote was $2922 before tax. He said the wall wouldn't look much better than it does now but he would get all the places having egregious deterioration and then seal. Two days work. Moving forward his team (him and a 18 year old nephew) came and went in less than 4 hours. Sealant remained to be done and I could see that cost was itemized at $400. I personally could do it in 1/2 hour so I asked him to scratch it from the price. He was very amenable to that. The issue arose when I was sealing I found and sent him photos of spots with severe erosion that were missed and should take about 1 hour to fix. Some on wall, one in bottom corner of house, one big seam in windowsill. I sent email and photos asking for him to return. He didn't reply. 1 week later I reached him by phone and he said he didn't get the email/or hadn't read it yet but he wasn't going to come back for 'pinholes' which I could do myself. First of all I could do everything myself but that's time that I paid him for. He is too busy to come. Photos are from the south wall as discussed."

"I have been a regular customer of RCS for about the last 7-10 years and have previously been very satisified by their service. Up until my most recent visit which occurred in December, I have found them to be reliable, fairly priced and service-oriented. I tend to be a very loyal customer when working with service providers, so it was a no-brainer for me to schedule a service visit with RCS when our fireplace began acting up and couldn't stay lit. Our most recent service visit prior to December was in July 2023 and typically for us, a fireplace tune-up and cleaning does the trick, and we are good to go for at least the following year. Due to the season, it took about 3 weeks to get on the schedule, which was fine and understandable. I was not available at the time of the visit. However, according to my wife, the technician arrived on time, was polite, and stayed for about an hour. Upon returning home, especially since it was cold outside, I was excited to begin using the fireplace. I switched it on and it stayed on for about 10 seconds before the fireplace and pilot went out. I tried relighting it several more times (including restarting the pilot light each time) and basically had the same result. In other words, there was absolutely NO difference in performance from before my service visit and after it. The fireplace looked cleaner (as it always does after clean up a tune-up), but the most important part of the service, getting the fireplace up and running was NOT accomplished. I immediately informed Lynnea of the issue by text and over a call and was hoping for a quick resolution, including a return visit by the tech. I got a quick answer, but a disappointing proposed resolution. She said a return visit could be scheduled, but there would be an additional charge of $180, which was a "discounted" rate along with parts if needed. I am fine with the parts, but I did balk at the proposed service charge, as I did not consider the initial visit to have been completed satisfactorily. While the technician may have done a cursory check at the end of the visit, the fireplace only stayed lit for 10 seconds the very first time I tried it, which tells me that he didn't really check it. If I was a brand new customer, I might know any better, but I'm not. This is very disappointing and I'm clearly still not happy even though this occurred several months ago. Every time the temperature drops and I want to use the fireplace, I am reminded of my disappointment with RCS. I expect a company to stand by their work and for their service technicians to be thorough. Neither occurred during the last visit."

"This company is amazing! This is the first time since my husband died that I feel like someone really cared to fix the issue I was having. They came right out to give me an estimate on what was wrong, but ended up fixing the problem right then. The customer service was impeccable, I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs help with their roof."

"Replacement of chimney went very well and I am very pleased with the look. Previous chimney was leaking through mortar cracks and was faced with basalt rock. It would have been very expensive to tear down and replace and Chris suggested several brick colors, dropped them over for us to consider, and drew some pictures of replacement chimney to match mid century house and neighborhood. He also reused old cap material on new chimney and was able to use material to repair rear brick chimney cap."

"I bought my first and only house in 2015. I noticed my roof had started leaking in my living/dining room this late winter/early spring. I spent lots of time researching roofing on the internet so that I would make a somewhat intelligent decision when it came to making such a huge financial decision on my house. Part of that research included BBB and Angie's List for the best companies. I picked four different companies and decided on GAFCO and I am thrilled that I did. I don't like to put people's names in reviews because I don't know if people want their name on the internet but the woman who came to inspect the roof was phenomenal. She climbed over and under and through everything. She was polite and professional and didn't make me feel stupid for asking questions. She pointed things out to me and explained why I would need new roof decking and other products. She gave me time to research the products and processes that I didn't know. When she learned that this was my first house and that I am pretty clueless about this stuff, she pointed out things that I should keep my eye on in the near future. And she did it without dropping, "I have a guy for that," or, "GAFCO can do that for you. Let me up sell you on this." She honestly cared and did it without any sort of financial gain for herself. She helped me through the paperwork part without being condescending or exasperated with my unending questions. She was always available to me via text. She was a great low pressure sales woman. Oh, and she was on time! Once the contract was signed, she let me know when the products would be delivered and work would start. They came out with a crane truck and stored as much of the product on the roof as possible. I think it was about 10 days after the contract went through and then the work started. The roofers were professional and I think it was a quick job (having never been through this process before). They tore off my old shingles all the way to the original shiplap. They placed new roof decking on a 40 square roof, all the layers, and new shingles and TPO for our deck and supply room in a week. They cleaned up after themselves when the job was done. When I had concerns about the roof, the owner came out to look at the roof himself. He clearly cares about his customers and his business. He listened to my concerns about the fascia and solved them. He too has been available by text for my concerns. I believe the gutters are contracted out but they were fast, quick, and professional. The gutters look nice and new. They were done in less than a day. All in all, it was a good experience. Sorry for the long post but I think they deserve it."
